What mental illness/disorder(s) do you have? 

BPD for sure, idk if my mdd diagnoses is rendered invalid because of the overarching bpd 

Do you take any medications, and do they seem to have a positive effect on you?

yeah honestly my lamotrigine has probably saved my life, its softened my mood swings a lot (though theyre still fairly intense) 

Seroquel... snows me right out so i’ve only used it once. it worked?? but at what cost lol

Abilify hasnt been given a chance to take full effect yet but i hope it helps 

Have you ever gone to therapy? What kind of experience was it for you?

i havent been to like actual therapy but i have a really nice counsellor and shes really sweet but were setting up therapy in september 

Do you have a good support system? (Online supports are valid too!)

ehh... itll be better when i live with my friend, im the type of person to shut away and suffer and not tell anyone and i was living alone for a few months, that was bad

i have a couple really good online friends that i can reach out to but like i said, bad at doing that

its funny my pharmacist keeps telling me to have a support system and im like... lol let me just go out and get one 

What good things have come from your experiences with mental health?

my good emotions run just as deep as my negative ones, 

other than that... nothing lol. ive ruined good, healthy relationships and friendships because of this illness

If you could make NT people understand just one thing about you, what would it be?

psychosis isnt just a metaphorical person locked up in a psych ward screaming forever, and being psychotic isnt like.. “being angry” which is what so many people use it for. psychotic people are people. like... yes im psychotic. yes im taking medication. i dont “seem psychotic” because my paranoia and delusions dissolve for the most part around safe people, and im on medication. if you know i have bpd and stuff dont argue with me when i call myself crazy either like wtf... i can call myself whatever i want!
