You'll buy that $20 Bob Marley poster from Spencers , the Indian inspired jewelry from whatever store is bartering culture in the mall , and will spend $250 on Beyonce's concert...but yet you know no local singers , designers , painters, or artists in general. #Changethedynamic #knowyourroleineconimcs ! You can change things ...support local artists and keep your money local and im small businesses when possible. Walmart will never invite you to a Walton dinner, Beyonce gives two shits about Sallie Mae stalking you ...so why do you continue to make them richer ? If we supported local artists,.art would be looked upon more as a career than just a fanciful dream. 500 artists making $50,000 a year sounds a little more balanced than your favorite singer making $25 million in a year by themselves.
