Well, it would seem to be this time every year… a few, two, small fur babies came around. It kicked us in the butt to actually go ahead and make this outside box shelter.
1. Cut the hole
2. Sand the new hole down
3. Add tape as extra security
The goal is to eventually add straw (I’ll verify before buying and putting out) to keep the outside kitties warm. It appears there are two that are close to one another. They won’t let us too close and are both kittens.
Unfortunately, we are just too tied up in the Kitty Kingdom with 5 already we can’t take anymore in. The food will be out for periods but can’t be constantly out due to other critters.
We are just hoping it protects the little ones and keeps them warm and safe.
It was this time last year we got Amara. Then the year previously almost to the day we met and got Nixie.
When I see an animal in need I cannot ignore them. I have to help. Our fur friends deserve good things just like humans.
