Nine episodes in and I'm in love with whatever the fuck is wrong with this show.
There are so many downright unserious sentences in this show you think it'd be hard to take anything seriously (I couldn't find a better word) but somehow when it counts the plot and the emotion behind every phrase strikes the balance of cringe and respect sinking into your soul.
Ninja vs Gokudo.
A title so basic I wasn't expecting much but somehow it's consumed my thoughts so much waiting for next week Wednesday feels like absolute torture.
The fujobait in this series is so good I don't even mind the random bullshit that happens in the fight scenes any more.
It's absurd, it's fun and it's definitely not for everyone (especially the animation at times good god). It's also bloody and cringe but it's a good turn your brain off show I kind of wish wasn't as underrated as it's turning out to be.
