"We'll go to Interhighs together, otherwise it's meaningless". AOYAGI DOESN'T WANT TO GO ON TO THE INTERHIGHS, THAT HE'S WORKED SO HARD FOR, IF TESHIMA'S NOT WITH HIM. He refuses to. Teshima is his partner and the whole thing does't mean a single goddamn thing if they're not crossing that victor line together.

The entire 'only Teshima has any fucking clue what Aoyagi's thinking or communicating' in the first two seasons, like just how bloody close are you to a person when you can literally read their thoughts?

"WHO ELSE WOULD I CHEER FOR BESIDES YOU, JUNTA" combined with "You must have tried so hard, Junta" (and okay, I'm laughing that Aoyagi's the little stoic one but he's always the one with the big dramatic romantic gesture, like come on Teshima, get it together and be just as nice to your boyfriend), because Aoyagi really does love Teshima so fucking much, and it kills him that for once he can't help Teshima win the race against Koga (FREE HIM, ANIME). Because Perm-senpai does need to win this one by himself - and let's be honest, even Teshima's all snarky and self-deprecating over his chances of winning. All Aoyagi can do is cheer for him, and he does, because even if no one else does, he'll never stop believing in him. Which is then followed by him bawling - STOIC LITTLE AOYAGI, CRYING - becauseu Teshima won the fucking thing and he's so goddamn happy for him. HE JUST LOVES HIM SO MUCH.

And finally, Teshima's big dream - his dream that he's a little embarrassed about and has to work up the courage to admit it to Aoyagi - is literally them riding their 'special twin straight' and holding hands across the victory line because really, he's grown so much as captain, and the two of them have learned to open up their world to being a team of six, rather than two - but at the end of it all, Aoyagi's the most important one to him. And it makes Aoyagi happy that Teshima told him his dream, and then it all descends into gay pedal angst which we've not quite resolved yet, and god. They are rididculously in love.

Old character but new to this blog: Yeenon!

Yeenon came to be from my friend Spazzy wanting a character who had markings that show up under UV or that glow, based on Akali from KDA’s Pop/Stars music video. So I made a draft, took notes, made edits, and Yeenon was made!

Yeenon is co-owned by Spazzy and me.
