The words he hears can't possibly be right. Never has he had something like it directed his way before. The silence that follows Naruto's fleeing (for that sprinting left on the air the unmistakable scent of a prey running for their life) is sharp and stilled, heavy and laced with disbelief. 

           "W-Wait! Hey, Naruto! Explain yourself!!! Naruto!"
