Why did you only warn Owen and Tyler now?"... Noah then answers: "Because I don't care what you do with the others... If they're dumb enough to fall for your tricks and charms, then they deserve to lose... But Owen is my best friend, and I don't like how you treat him, so he's the only one I'm warning..." 😏 What if Noah's answer makes Alejandro decide to vote off Duncan instead?... How would Noah react to not being voted off?... What if Alejandro likes Noah's logical apathy?
there’s something in how (according to the wiki, at least), noah takes notice of alejandro’s sketchy behavior in germany and only ever brings up the trust thing challenges later in london — not to say noah hasn’t spoken with owen about alejandro before then (seen through when owen says noah told him heather and alejandro were into each other ‘big time’, he’s obviously talked about him before) but as owen’s asking ‘why don’t you like him’ and noah explains why he distrusts him that would indicate it’s something that specifically hasn’t been brought up before.
all this to say that he’s spoken to owen about them before and it shows if nothing else he wants owen to be wary of alejandro, which would be why he jumps at the opportunity to further warn and explain to him his distrust.
anyway i’d imagine post-challenge, while dissatisfied with it, noah would expect his elimination (thus giving him reason to lay all this cards on the table via telling alejandro why he did so, if not being just straight-up spiteful and wanting to gloat), adding to the surprise when he isn’t.
duncan would be saved by chris here (because of,, drama or whatever. the dreaded love triangle), and on noah’s part probably dread or annoyance with a smidge of being happy he’s not voted off — because, yeah, he’s still here, but now he has to deal with that he revealed himself to alejandro and through implicitly voting for him duncan may be wary of any alliance between them, leaving him as the option.
because i do think alejandro would leverage him warning owen to his own advantage — and even if there’s no goodwill or trust, duncan would play swing vote if it means the heat is off himself. thus, if alejandro says, owen is gone — to keep noah close; but further than that i do think alejandro would at least find his apathy interesting, if initially in a purely strategic way.
a kind of, ‘noah is proactive enough to recognize me but spiteful enough to think the people around him don’t “deserve” to be warned because they can’t see it themselves’.
there would be appreciation there for his being able to even see through his façade in the first place, and im sure grudging respect for being willing to say it knowing everyone else is fooled and it would cause dislike to be thrown noahs way (…..not that i think noah thought of this. i just think alejandro would assume noah did)
i do think noah would, while being pretty incensed at leveraged into such a forced alliance situation, go along with it, riding alejandros coattails to keep owen safe.
story-wise it would make sense for owen to still be eliminated in sweden (through a tiebreaker, probably) so noah can properly break away from alejandro come merger and team with someone else
……or conversely noah stays with alejandro and flat-out trashes it to get himself voted out. arguably the most in-character thing for him to do.
^ also because through the entirety of it, noah may recognize it for what it is; showing off. alejandro has been shown in-canon to be the kind of person who puts showing off above strict pragmatism, so he’s ‘punishing’ noahs speaking out by ‘showing off’ that he can leverage the situation to his own benefit anyway. and noah, spiteful and upset that his friend is gone, would seize the opportunity to piss alejandro off via ruining his whole plan.
this is all to say i want this particular set-up to turn into noah vaguely annoyed but mostly apathetic at his situation and for alejandro to be the stupid loser he really is genuinely growing to really like noah and his brand of scheming (romantic or otherwise honestly). more stupid loser alejandro please. completely dumbfounded when noah gets himself out.
Assistant Noah AU: How Alejandro would react to Assistant Noah trying to warn Owen about the Spanish Charmer, by calling the Charmer an 'eel dipped in grease'?... Would Alejandro be salty that he can't vote Assistant Noah off, since Noah isn't a contestant?... Would Alejandro charm + flirt harder with Assistant Noah? 😘
noah being an assistant here implies something very specific — being, he’d definitely know alejandro knows. this would mean more, except that noah is not here for the competition, he’s here for The Paycheck.
on noahs end at least i don’t think he would care much, but i do hesitate to say what alejandro specifically would think of the situation — because despite him being badmouthed (which. i will get to), it does imply favoritism that noah is telling owen, which he may assume to extend further to their team and potentially be an advantage point.
he is. wrong. noahs ‘favoritism’ extends to owen and not so much in challenges, but im sure there’s potential there for alejandro to try and make nice with owen to reap this favoritism (or at least cut down how much owen receives by being close, since noah doesn’t seem to like alejandro much) < but the turning point comes with that because noah just Does Not Care.
i’d imagine he’d be juuust as flagrant about his favoritism without it technically infringing on any rules, explicit or implicit (and the rest of the cast, sans maybe those like heather or courtney, would be aware that owen would never do anything underhanded or wildly unfair with those privileges so it’s not so major in that regard either)
anyway, alejandro sees what happens and tries to intercept on owen to reap some benefit or control over the situation, and it doesn’t work. where does he go from there? flirting!!
^ this has more to it than narrative, being mostly alejandro’s character and it’s existence, really. while in canon his charming is more consistently his ‘first option’ for his scheming, you can see it through his relationship through heather how it can be a failsafe instead — where he can’t explicitly scheme her away from the game like he could with team victory, he flirts with her to make her emotionally volatile.
(also something to be said about how it is, in a way, a manner of forcing himself control over at least a small part of it)
all my rambling to mean that since alejandro can do nothing about noah, he goes to reap control and petty enjoyment through trying to fluster him (and, back to what i said earlier, probably some vindication for being badmouthed). spoiler alert: it doesn’t work.
finally getting over to the being badmouthed thing, i would want it to mean something more exciting, but the kinda boring, semantical answer i can give is just that. noah would probably know because he has access to stuff like confessional footage.
don’t get me wrong there’s definitely potential for a misunderstanding-type situation where alejandro writes off his own intrigue in noah as ‘wanting to figure out how he knew’, and introduces the conflict when someone (likely noah himself) tells him that no, he just knows because he has footage access. that’s it.
^ it would theoretically kill alejandro’s interest, but retconned with that alejandro may reason (in a way to ignore his feelings. stupid man in Denial) that it would bother noah if he continues to flirt despite knowing this.
(and of course that like heather is the only person alejandro could drop pretenses around in canon, noah would be that to him here — because he could. noah knows, he knows noah knows, and there’s no explicit or immediate threat to his game by doing so < which might amp up post-owen elimination, after noah is soothed from his inevitable spite.)
which he would be kind of right about? i do mostly see noah as more pissed that it’s taking away from his job (probably more at chris’ insistence, as the viewers are eating it up) and there being a more definite pivotal point once owen is eventually eliminated.
(going more definitely two-sided, i’d imagine noahs own feelings developing as he needles for information through alejandro’s constant attempts at flirting and does genuinely appreciate the more genuine parts of himself.)
for an actual relationship between them though i do imagine it would have to come post-season — either route you take it, drama-bot or not.
• like izzy, really enjoys rock climbing. they go like every weekend together
• at one point had a hissing cockroach as a pet
• hobbyist photographer
• while good at listening to bodily cues for things like thirst and hunger, she’s hot garbage at doing the same for injury
• ^ she got fucked up joints 😔(joking a little, though she does overexert her knees and back very often)
• had carpal tunnel when she was like thirteen
• learns how to play the drums post td as an anger management thing (though growing to genuinely enjoy it)
• very, very good at contact sports but finds it hard to find anyone willing to play with her
• post td i see her as the one most in touch with her emotions and the most willing to actually work through them
• ^ despite blowing up quite often, shes very aware of her faults and very willing to work through them (this is basically canon i think)
• hated math and found it difficult, however very good at physics
• can’t braid/do hair very well, can however, cut/shave hair well
• prefers moths over butterflys (this is a trait her and gwen share)
• hard metal fan (canon basically to me)
• prefers cold showers
• ^ uses unscented body soap and something like coconut shampoo
• in spite of being fairly emotionally grounded, she can’t be emotionally vulnerable for shit
• really good at petsitting. the same cannot be said about babysitting

• has never experienced flavor fatigue
• either wears seamless socks or wears them strictly inside out
• her guilty pleasure are childhood/kids movies and shows (izzy and noah watch them with her when they find out)

• spent her summer at 15 y/o taking odd jobs and so many of them failing is part of what influenced her to join TD the following summer
• will not hesitate to correct any bad form she sees at the gym; did that to tyler multiple times on the playa
• definitely had a mullet at some point
• izzy is the first real friend she ever makes (real perhaps italicized,,,,, perhaps something to do with her canon dislike of backstabbers,,,, and willingness to jump to conclusions about perceived betrayals towards herself,,,,,)
• i think her and lindsay could be casual friends. and by that i mean lindsay takes her motorcycle riding sometimes
• rarely gets bitten by mosquitoes, however is very prone to ant bites
• mid action and WT punched at least 30 paparazzi
• can cook pretty well; however the last time she tried to bake box cake mix it exploded
• often saddled with the most amount of work in group projects however could not present or speak in front of crowds, usually screwing her grade anyway
• has a gym in her Room. pull-up door attachments, mats, dumbbell sets, resistance bands, grip strength things, etc etc
• lost many volley/soccer/basket/etc balls during childhood bc she’d hit them over people’s fences accidentally and never work up the courage to ask for them back
• has bruxism
• ^ also somehow has insanely strong teeth. shes never chipped a tooth ever
• probably ripped her baby teeth out on her own when they came loose without a problem
• bad at knife throwing, but not at axe throwing
• struggles to understand/relate to her peers not because shes deliberately trying to be rude/obtuse about it but because she never learned to during her formative years
