HeeHOO FINALLY! Batch 1 of 'sibling dynamics' complete! 🫠 Last one had the 'Highschool Bullies', this time we got 'Generational Disparity', 'Trick or TRICK' and 'Double JR'.

Decided to experiment with styles here to see what sticks--the last one in particular was inspired by this lil gem (I don't think I'll ever be over it the colours go HARD AAA) Going forward, I don't actually know which I'll stick with 🤔 (assuming I EVER touch colour again 😭) but hey! Got the whole summer to figure it out.

Speaking of! I'M (ALMOST) FREE!! >:DD - got a game jam next week that I forced myself to participate in, but generally speaking I have 0 academic obligations as of now 😎 lesee if I've any braincells left over...

I've been chewing on this for d a y s. With how much I drew Iggy bullying Larry, twas only a matter of time before the scales tipped. Originally that other piece with Roy n Wendy was the last panel here, but it all changed when Lemmy jumped on the scene 😌

Mann, I haven't done a comic since Buckshot Roulette---Not hard to see why though, colour n shading was a nightmare! How many years of this and I still can't do that shiny effect on hair?? The inner perfectionst was REELING- but uh, Skill issue 🫠. Probably gonna test out flat colouring or crosshatching for the next one, because colour? I hardly know 'er! [(canned laugh track)]

If we're being real, Iggy would be Luke in this scenario- the laugh and 'erm acktually' vibe fit him wayyy too well. As for Ludwig? Well. I dig the idea of him having Edgeworth's snarky attitude and being a pissy lil prosecutor---but consider.

Pen Test: (aka pretending I know how to draw Roy)

Been a minute. I fear I won't get to add any of my newer characters to Artfight, but I've made peace with it. It sounds obvious, but your artstyle may shift depending on how thick your brush is and which one you sketch with. Was a fun lil experiment!

Dude I'm so fuckin sad I turned OBS off before it even got cookin'... Been wanting to do a speedpaint of ya boi to a song I mentally associate him with- thing is, none of the sketches looked good so I packed up early. THEN I pull out the stops 😑 admittedly, I wouldn't have lingered on these sketches without some encouragement from a friend, sooo congrats! You saved him from being left to rot on a .clip 🫡

Ah, regarding the 'armed n dangerous' Roy, still not sure how I feel about 'im. The proportions are a far cry from what I try to replicate, but I can't say I hate it 🤔

I'm due to move back home in about a week, so I've been putting off making any big pieces. I have been dabbling with my art supplies though! The process is as fun as it is stressful lmao, can't hide behind control-Z forever 🫠

Feel like I gotta draw MASSIVE if I ever wanna use my ohuhu markers properly. Was gonna do an acrylic paint variant, but I think I've spent long enough indulging this bastard, ONTO THE NEXT SPECIMEN!
