I may seem smart because I read and annotate Butler's Excitable Speech but in reality it took me over 10 minutes to read and understand the first page (and that's ok)

ya'all, I am so locked in
no, I'm not trying to avoid my feelings
[27.04.26]
making progress with the books that I have to read for my thesis
[pages 15/305 | book 2/6]
the past few days I met with a friend to write on our essays. It was so helpful and motivating to leave the house and have a study date with someone. I thought that we would meet again today but he canceled since he prefers to write at his place. All of the sudden all my motivation is gone. I am sitting at my desk and thinking "What's the point?". It isn't the same and at the same time it is exactly the same because I am so sick and tired of my desk and the view out of my window

In less than two weeks I have my Spanish exam. I know that I will pass and for some reason that is everything that counts for me. But at the other hand; passing with a good grade. Damn, this would be cool. That's why I'm spending more time on studying Spanish, writing in Spanish, reading than doing stuff for my essays (tho I handed the one in, that I'd finished writting back in summer). Anyway, I really enjoy learning lately. Lots of fun.
[currently reading:
Katabasis by R.F. Kuang
The Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe
Blob by Maggie Su (I know, there is much going on reading wise)]

ngl, having a good feeling about the spanish exam on monday. Won't be an A, but it will be more than a barely passed. Yesterday I also met and practiced with the person with whom I will have the oral part of the exam with and we did pretty good.
God, I am so back in my study era.

started writing my thesis yesterday and by that I mean I just ramble my thoughts down, so that I have at least some text down and hopefully can work from there on
