Not familiar with poetry? Here are some sources to check out for ideas/to choose from for your request!

William Shakespeare has over a 150 sonnets to choose from. Since it is written in Old English, it may be hard to understand at times so here is a link with all the sonnets and an analysis of each one.  

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur is a popular contemporary poetry book, if you don’t already have a physical copy yourself you can download a copy here.

Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell is another contemporary poetry book (one of my favorites!). You can download a copy here.
