1. Must be about Klance in some way, shape, or form.
This is a requirement for all microfics we are tagged in. If there is no Klance within your post, we will not reblog it, full stop. It doesn't matter whether you have post-canon-just-friends Klance, or cuddly Klance, or even angsty breakup Klance- as long as it's there, then it's a Klance microfic. Additionally, we will not reblog fics with just a small mention of either Keith or Lance with a focus on another pairing, as it is not a Klance microfic.
2. Tag your fic properly.
Make sure that all potential trigger warnings (if there are any) are listed in the tags so that people can filter them out. Please also put warnings at the top of your fic as to not trigger people. We don't care what sensitive topics you might include in your works, but others might. If there are trigger warnings, we can reblog it with a clear conscience.
3. Microfics should be original.
Your microfic cannot be a section of something that you've already written, nor can it be AI. If we are aware that it is either a snippet or made with the help of GenAI, we will not reblog your microfic. That is not the purpose of this blog.
Also, if you'd like to make your microfics multi-part, go ahead! Just remember that the purpose of microfics is to provide a little slice of a fic that can be read by itself without previous context. Of course, we will still reblog your multi-part fics, but it's more fun to try and fit as much content into as few words as possible.
This is something a lot of us struggle with, but ultimately we want to aim for under 1000 words. We also will not be reblogging anything over 1500 words, as this is a microfic blog.
5. Be patient with the mods.
Since we, as mods, also have lives (shocker, we know), we may not be able to reblog your fic until we are free from school or work. If we don't notice your fic, please tag us again and we will reblog it as soon as we can.
Fanfiction is supposed to be fun and for the enjoyment of both the author and the reader. Even though we may have a few rules here, we just want to make it as accessible for people as possible! The whole goal here at the end of the day is to make sure everyone has a good time.
