I am so pleased to finally release my @klapollo-minibang fic! I'm very pleased with the results of everything. Shout-out to @romanticsap-art for both making this book cover and drawing two pieces that will be appearing in the fic later on, shout-out to @contritecactite for beta reading this, and shout-out to everyone else in the Klapollo Minibang!

Summary:

Seven years ago, a foreign teenage prosecutor by the name of Apollo Justice accuses Phoenix Wright of forging evidence...and gets him disbarred in the process.

In the present day, Klavier Gavin, defense attorney and lead singer of the Gavinners, prepares to handle the case of Shadi Smith's murder...defending none other than Phoenix Wright.

“Ah, so you’re the owner of that motorcycle,” someone says. “I’ve heard a lot about you, Klavier Gavin.”

“...how do you know my name?” Klavier asks, casting a glance at Trucy. She seems to be alright — just as bouncy as usual. Mrs. Kitaki also doesn’t seem to be threatening Trucy, so everything should be okay. He can spare a moment to speak with this attractive stranger. Really, if Klavier ignores the hair spikes, he could even bump the stranger up to attractive. “I don’t exactly see you as a fan.”

“You made quite the splash in the courtroom.” The man’s voice is both soft and raspy, with the lilt of an accent that Klavier can’t quite place. “Defending Phoenix Wright…a bold move. And now you defend a member of the Kitaki family. It makes me quite curious.” The man looks up at Klavier. He’s quite short. “I look forward to seeing you in court tomorrow.”

Ah. Yes, that is a prosecutor’s badge.
