              “Can I help you?” There was a look of distraught as she stared at the boy while holding two unconscious full grown men on each of her shoulders? They were meant to be captured anyway, according to the police forces around here (in which she also doubted about their credibility). Yet, the reason for her involvement in this started when they were displaying a disrespectful behavior towards her. Certainly, no one should cat call a god of all people.

“You were looking for the... shrine?” There was an apparent look of confusion on her face, wondering what a boy like him would want to do over there. She just so happened to know where it was since she had visited it once before, but her memory was still foggy to not be able to give him precise directions.

“I can lead you there if you want... but what reason could it be that you need to go there? It doesn’t seem like a place where you would find much, in my opinion.”

“A-Aaah! Sakuya, stop that!” Junpei gave an exasperated sigh as he looked over to the area that his pokemon had just snowed, raising an eyebrow when he noticed that she’d managed to get someone other than just himself.

Picking her up, he frowned- he’d have to apologize now, wouldn’t he.... urgh, such a troublesome little partner. He’d have to teach her that getting snow everywhere was just a bit rude. “Sorry about her, she gets a bit too... enthusiastic.”

At first, the Spirit that it was a bright idea getting something from one of the various food venders one could find on the side of the street, but without actually knowing what to do with said item had left her highly confused. She had never really eaten anything before, and the smell of it wasn’t something that she enjoyed. And so she decided maybe best to give it to someone else as she wrinkled her nose a bit at it. Looking around a bit, she finally picked a person before letting some notes from her to catch their attention before holding the item out to them.

              “UH......C-COULD I GET SOME HELP?” 9S had accidentally got his leg stuck in a manhole, the android seeing no other way of free his leg without removing it. Thankfully he could repair himself without worry, it just would be more of a pain in the ass to hop home.  “SEEMS I GOT MY LEG STUCK, MY STRENGTH ISN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE TO LIFT THE COVER.”

   Much to your dismay, many of Hive City’s stray beasts are just TOO BIG.

Normally this wouldn’t be an issue for you, but you are a less effective huntress without any of your artificial claws. You’re keeping an eye out for any suitable replacement, but your luck is so far coming up short. Oh well. In the meantime, you’ll just have to target smaller beasts.

Currently, it’s a rabbit-like creature sitting idle in some grass — you’re crouched down low, crawling slowly, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce, aaand... it skitters away. Not because of your approach, but someone else’s.

You blink, briefly glancing up at the person who intruded.

　　　 The city is in shambles. The remains of what were once proud buildings lay in heaps, broken islands in a sea of destruction and debris. This city has seen more than its fair share of war and bloodshed, yet it has always recovered - until now.

　　　 It is with a certain darkness in his eyes that Sinbad gazes out at the wreckage before him. It is not a wholly unfamiliar sight,and for that, he cannot help but curse silently. It is missing only blood, tears, and the scent of the sea to recreate what he once survived in Sindria; the very reminder is enough to heat his blood.

　　　 “I’ve seen more than enough war for a few lifetimes,” he says aloud to no one in particular. “All of this carnage... and for what? What came of this battle? What would have come had we lost?” Nearly as much as the fighting itself, this bothers him. No battle is fought without reason, yet they know not why they were forced to defend the cage that imprisons them. “War is a terrible atrocity no matter the reason, but one without purpose is even worse.”

       He's unsure exactly what the other person is focusing on ( an animal? he sees tufts of fur ) but it sparks his own curiosity enough for him to glance over a few times, considering whether he should go over and investigate himself. His mind is made up for him, when a rather large plant beside the other starts moving, and he instinctively moves in order to pull the male and the animal out of harms way -- from a giant maw that was just about to have a meal.
