Caroline Forbes stood on the sidelines, her heart pounding with anticipation as the final moments of the championship game ticked away. The Timberwolves, had fought tooth and nail for this victory, and now, with the scoreboard in their favour, victory was within their grasp.
“History has been made tonight as the Timberwolves claims victory in one of the most unforgettable games of the season!" The announcer's voice boomed across the stadium, setting off a wave of cheers and celebrations.
Caroline couldn't contain her excitement as she embraced her squad, and chanted their cheers for the last time tonight. Tears of joy filled her eyes as she scanned the football field, searching for one person in particular.
And there he was, her boyfriend, Klaus Mikaelson, the captain of the Timberwolves' football team, running towards her with a victorious grin on his face. Caroline's heart skipped a beat as she watched him approach, feeling all the butterflies in her stomach.
"Klaus!" she exclaimed as he reached her, unable to contain her joy. Without hesitation, he lifted her up in his arms, spinning her around in a whirlwind of happiness. Caroline's laughter bubbled up as she clung to him, feeling the rush of adrenaline coursing through her veins.
As Klaus set her back down, their eyes met, and Caroline felt a jolt of electricity pass between them. She wrapped her arms around him, savouring the warmth of his embrace.
"You were amazing out there! I'm so proud of you," Caroline said, her voice soft and endearing as she leaned in to kiss his cheek.
"Thank you for being here tonight, love," Klaus let out, his voice breathless after the game.
Caroline pulled away from him slightly, but laced her arms around his neck. "Seriously? I would NEVER miss your games, you should know that by now. Also, I gotta be on watch out for all of your groupies back there," she teased, nodding towards the crowd of adoring fans.
Klaus flashed her his trademark dimpled smirk, his eyes sparkling with affection. “Well unfortunate for them, I’m spoken for, ” he said, leaning down to press his lips to hers in a passionate yet tender kiss, sealing his victory once again with her by his side.
Prompt: Any ship u want + "what the hell are you doing in my room?"
***ok so I ended up turning this into a scene shortly after Hope was born and Rebekah took her (ya know for safety reasons), Klaus was really struggling with himself and not having her and paid a visit to Caroline who really just calms his darkest storms (also I am still without a Beta so I apologize for any errors)
"What the hell are you doing in my room?" Caroline asked, dropping her bag just inside the doorway. She had just gotten back to her dorm after attending what was quite possibly the worst party of the year. It was just after finals and meant to be a celebratory one but it was dumb, in her opinion, possibly because she didn't plan it. So she had decided to cut out early and head back to have some alone time and maybe shower. But as she pushed open her door and seen none other than Niklaus Mikaelson sitting on the edge of her bed, she couldn't help the irritation that flared up. "Don't ignore me. What in the hell are you doing in my room?" She repeated, stepping into the room and shutting the door. Klaus sat on the bed, resting his head in his hands and elbows on his knees. She sighed and moved close enough to him to be in arms reach, feeling a headache settling in and just not in the mood to play games. "Heeelllooooo?" She drew the word out as she crossed her arms, standing in front of him. Eventually he stood from the bed, shaking his head. It was clear to see that he was distressed from the redness around his eyes and the downward curve of his lips.
"I shouldn't have come. My apologies." He said, turning towards the door and beginning to walk towards it. Caroline felt the frown come to her face as he did so and couldn't stop herself from reaching out and grabbing his arm, which he pulled away quickly as he turned to face her. Only then did she get the full effect of him. From the messiness of the hair atop his head to the wrinkles in his henley shirt that told her he had probably worn it for few days. "I'll be going. I'm sorry for bothering you, Caroline." He said, turning again to walk towards the door.
"Uh uh" She started, using her vamp speed to slide into the small gap between him and the door before he could open it, hands out against his chest. "You don't get to come here after years of no contact and then try to disappear because it shocked me a bit to see you in my room" She said, gently pressing her hands against his chest to push him back a few steps, which he obliged to. She put her hands on her hips and just examined his face, which looked , for a lack of better words, broken. And as much as she tried to pretend it didn't upset her, it did. She was a mixture between wanting to comfort him and very upset that he broke his promise and came back to her. "Why did you come here?" She asked. The room was silent for a moment before Klaus lifted his shoulders in a small shrug.
"I don't know" He answered, looking around the room and reaching up to place his hand on the back of his neck before turning back to Caroline. "I guess I just needed to see you..." He directed his eyes to the ground and his voice came out as a whisper. Caroline stood still for a few moments before stepping forward and slowly wrapping her arms around him.
"Whatevers going on.. I'm sorry for being rude. But you could have called first" She said, resting her head on his shoulder and squeezing him a bit closer into the hug, her gut telling her that he needed it. Klaus stood still for a few moments as he listened to her heart beat and let the familiar warm smell of her rush over him before he caved and wrapped his arms around her. The more he relaxed into the hug, the closer he felt himself slipping towards the edge of breaking down fully. "What's going on?" She asked feeling the slight shake in his body as he opened his mouth to speak but shut it again. Caroline pulled away from him enough to look up at him and move her left hand from behind him to his face, resting it on the rough stubble that covered his cheek. His eyes opened and locked with hers and she gently rubbed her thumb along his cheek bone in a comforting motion. "You don't have to speak" She said, realizing that it was likely he wouldn't say a word about what was bothering him because he would end up crying and he thought too much of his reputation to let that happen. "Just nod your head or shake it or..something. You're kind of scaring me" She said, honestly. "Is everyone ok?" She asked. After a brief moment of thinking Klaus nodded his head and Caroline felt a flood of relief go through her, at least no one was hurt, or worse - dead. Part of her really wanted to push him away because the hug had been going on for long enough that she was getting a bit hot and uncomfortable. Like he could hear her thoughts, he loosened his hold on her and swallowed hard as he stepped back. She sighed softly and moved her hands to her head, rubbing at her temples and trying to battle the headache that was threatening to take over. "Do you want to stay here tonight?" She asked, dropping her hands to her side and looking back up at Klaus. "I really want to send you away but you look like a kicked puppy who hasn't slept in a week. And I'm too tired to fight you right now.. so come on. It's a small bed but I feel like you could probably use the rest" She said, grabbing his hand and moving over towards the bed.
She toed the boots off of her feet and dropped her jacket on the chair by the bed before pulling the blankets back and motioning for Klaus to lay down, which he obliged to after taking his shoes off. Once Caroline laid next to him, back against his side to avoid any snuggling, he found himself drifting to a peaceful sleep for the first time in nearly a week. He woke early the next morning, still on his back but this time with a weight against his side. Caroline had her head on his chest, blonde waves tickling his nose. He laid there a few moments, relaxing into soft sound of her breathing a few moments before carefully untangling himself from her and sliding out of the bed. He slid his shoes on and before bending by the bed next to Caroline who had curled into the pillows where he laid before.
"Thank you, Caroline..." He whispered before standing and making his way out of the room, quiet so as not to wake Bonnie who slept soundly in the bed closest to the door. When Caroline woke a half hour later, she had almost convinced herself that Klaus coming to her for comfort was a dream, almost.
A/N : What do you think? Let me know! Also I am so sorry for any spelling errors, I don't have a Beta, sssssooooo if you're willing, I am looking for a new one! And as always, I am taking prompts!
for @klarolineauseason Week 2 - All Human. Prompt : high school best friends to lovers au
summary: Caroline was never a partier, she hated parties more than anything in the world.
Truth be told, she hated it the most when her best friend isn't with her the whole time.
Centerfold
Caroline can’t believe she agreed to come to a party on a friday night again for a distraction. Parties are definitely better in theory than in reality. She hated the loud music and people shouting when they were trying to talk. She hated the stench of weed and smoke that hung in the air. She was never a partier, she hated parties more than anything in the world.
After arriving at the party with Klaus, he was once again nowhere to be seen. Hell the guy walks around like he owns the place. Wouldn't be surprised if he got caught up with all his fans that were dying to dance with him.
Whatever, she'll be fine on her own. Caroline looked down at the cup on her hand and decided she needed a new drink. She walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle. It tasted awful, but she found it hard to care anymore.
She sat at the stairs and sipped her bottle while people came and left in big groups. She ignored the people who tried to talk to her. When her bottle was almost empty, she decided to get up and get a new one.
She stumbled when she stood up and god her head was spinning. Using the wall for support, her eyes scanned the entire party for the person she wanted to see.
God she couldn't breathe. Everyone kept dancing around her, she stumbled back and forth through the people in the living room. Oh great, the music grew even louder. She found herself cursing the band.
She really needs to get out of here. But how? Klaus. I have to find Klaus. He would help her and get her out of this god forsaken party. I need my best friend. Klaus would stop the world from spinning. He would hold her close. He would take her home.
She finally found him; On the couch with a beautiful brunette whose long legs draped along his lap. His hands were absent mindedly tracing her calves as she spoke. BINGO.
She stumbled up to Klaus, drawing his attention from the brunette on his lap. "Klaus, you need to come with me now" she slurred. She took a sip from the drink in his hand since she was already drunk. She spat it back. "Jesus, this is the worst thing I've had all night. "
He chuckled and apologetically pushed the brunette's legs off him and stood up to put an arm around Caroline's waist. Taking his drink back, "I could have warned you, you know. "
She clung onto his shirt for support while the room was rocking. His woody aftershave was swirling her nostrils. He smelled good. Too good in fact. It was a crime for him to look insanely good in his black t-shirt, dirty blond curls tussled.
Caroline wanted to dance, to feel his body pressed against hers. She took his hand and dragged him towards the grinding teens in the room. She lost her footing, almost falling.
She felt disconnected to her legs, as if her limbs were not her own. Klaus' hands steadied her but she felt like she was falling. Her vision was blurry and never settling.
"Whoa, easy love," Klaus said into her hair, trying to keep her steady. "Hold on, I got you. " He kept repeating it as he led her through the crowd like a soothing mantra, again and again. "I got you. I got you. I got you. "
And she knew he always would.
review on ao3 ( feel free to leave a comment if you liked reading my mini drabble xoxo)
Hey my Klaroline peeps! Just wanted to quickly drop in and remind you that whenever I’m writing a lovey, kissy, face-caressy scene between our two favorite idiots, Klaus is 1000% grasping Caroline’s face like this…
And like this…
SIDE NOTE:
Danny Masterson can kick rocks and chew glass. Steven Hyde would kick your ass.
Just a soft and fuzzy thing that I thought about while lying bored in my own bed! I’ve never written anything this short before so let me know what you think!
It was a warm night. The pair lying in bed together as the sheer red drapes flew in the breeze, the enormous windows lining the entirety of the far wall were wide open. The cool night air was helping to wick away the sweat from their earlier activities.
Klaus sat propped against the intricate headboard with his long legs crossed under the silk sheet. His attention was captured by the copy of Don Quixote he held in his large left hand, his right idly playing with the golden silk of his beautiful blondes’ hair.
Caroline sat lower on the bed, her curls splayed out on her pillow, as she typed rapidly on her laptop. She was nearly done with the essay for her ‘Eastern Impact and Influence in Architecture’ course.
They were in Xi’an, a marvel of human construction, where four different dynasties had shaped the landscape. Klaus had taken her there immediately after learning she had enrolled for the course online. They had been there for nearly three months now, exploring something new every day. They ate, they adventured, they documented, and then they did it all again the next day.
Finishing her typing, Caroline closed her laptop and set it to the side. She sighed heavily and relaxed back into the bed. She glanced over at her man, who was clearly still deep in his reading. She grabbed her phone and scrolled through Instagram for approximately two minutes before tossing it to the side and huffing again.
She was bored. Her mind was still reeling from writing, but too tired to focus on any of the usual time-wasting apps on her phone. Sitting still for a beat, she lifted both legs into the air, staring at her red toes. She flailed the shapely ligaments around for a goofy moment and then dropped them unceremoniously back to the cushioned mattress.
The hybrid had yet to acknowledge her. She looked at him for a while, her eyes beating into the side of his handsome face. She huffed a final time.
“I sense you are trying to get my attention, sweetheart.” He finally addressed her.
“Well I’d hate to disturb your reading.” She replied, her tone making it clear she didn’t, in fact, hate to disturb him.
Still holding open the novel, he distractedly answered, “Oh, I doubt that very much, my love. Now why don’t you tell me what I can do for you, sweet Caroline.”
“I’m bored.”
“So it would seem.” He smirked but still didn’t move his eyes from his reading. “Why don’t you text Rebekah, I know she was antsy to get you to Milan. Let her know you’ve almost finished your class.”, he offered.
“I already face timed with her earlier. She’s spending the night with her new boy toy. She made it very clear she’d be preoccupied tonight.”
“Hmm, well perhaps you can start your next read.” He continued, “I’d recommend Beijing Doll by Chun Sue. It does a marvelous job of painting the realities of life in China for a young girl, oppressed for her sexuality. I’m positive you’d be riveted by it.”
“Ugh my brain is too fried from writing,” she replied, “but maybe on the plane to Milan next week”, she was going to get her hands on that book for sure.
“We could always revisit earlier activities.” He quirked an eyebrow, always ready to make love to her in a new and creative way, always ready to teach her body different pleasures.
She huffed again, rolling her eyes although the idea wasn’t a horrible one. A few minutes passed by in silence as she examined her fingernails, the only sound was the quiet turning of a page as the hybrid drank in the infamous text.
Finally, Caroline had enough. “KLauuuuussss.” She whined.
“Yeeeeesssss.” He replied cheekily.
In a ridiculously over-dramatic move, she flung her body directly onto his torso. Her back laying on his chest in an awkward angle, her head hanging nearly off the side of the bed. He was startled by her sudden movement, dropping his book to the floor and letting out a breath as her body weight slammed his into the mattress.
“I’m booooorrreeeedd!” she countered.
He couldn’t help but laugh, a full hearty thing, his arms coming around to encase her body as best he could in her current position. She straightened her body slightly over his, so her head was closely nuzzled by his neck. She looked upwards and back, rolling her eyes up to meet his.
“I want your attention.” She said brazenly, and cute as could be.
He loved her like this, just a little needy for his regard. He was 1000 years old, but his insecurities still rarely got the better of him. Times like this, when his girl wanted nothing from him but his presence, his mindfulness: they were nice reminders that she didn’t want anything from him, she just wanted him.
“I am yours, my love. Now, what shall we do to entertain that sharp mind of yours?”
“I don’t know, I’m just bored. I want to do something.” She said. So, what if she was acting a bit petulant, she had just finished a ten-page paper for crying out loud! She deserved whatever she wanted right now.
Moving his lips to the side of her forehead, he kissed once, twice, squinting his eyes as he mulled over ideas in his head.
“Alright how about this,” he was suddenly excited about the prospects himself, “We throw on some clothes and make our way to Sajinqiao street. We pick up a late-night bite.” He smirked, alluding to both human food and human food, “And take a leisurely stroll through the gardens?”
She hopped up, thrilled with his plan. “See, this is why I love you!”, rushing over to the vanity where he had tossed her top earlier.
“Good to know sweetheart.” He teased as he stood from the bed, coming up behind her as she began to dress.
“And when we return,” his voiced dropped lower, “I am going to take you up against the railing on the balcony. Wouldn’t want you getting bored again, now would we?” He winked at her in the mirror.
How could she ever be bored with this man by her side?

Ansel leads her out of Niklaus' dressing room a few moments later, when he catches the glare that is directed at his son. He presses his hand on her back as he gestures, and she follows, pressing her lips together, as she tries to keep her comments to herself. Well, mostly.
She is a professional, after all. Caroline's almost positive she can manage it.
(Almost.)
And it's only a few months. Right? No problem.
Really, it's not like he was any different to most of the asshole's she meets, other than she has to work with him, and as she stated, she is a complete professional, she could totally pull this off. Even if his dimples were a little distracting...
Her head suddenly snaps up, when she hears Ansel cough, and her cheeks burn when she realise that he'd been talking to her.
"Sorry," she mutters.
He grins, and Caroline suddenly berates herself for not seeing that they were related before, because the had the same smile, and eyes, come to think of it.
"Don't worry about it, Caroline. It can be a lot to take in, I know that, and I know my son won't make that any easier. I do apologize for that. Just don't let him push you're buttons too much, and I hope this won't be an issue?"
His voice rises slightly at the end in question, but Caroline is already shaking her head. She has a feeling this isn't the first time he's apologised for his son, and she has a gut feeling it won't be the last.
"Of course not. It will be fine. Besides, we'll only working together for a few hours a day, if that sometimes. I'm sure I can manage that," she tells him.
Honestly, though, she's not sure who she's trying to convince. Her boss or herself.
He grins once more, as he continues guiding her through the halls.
"Excellent," he says, a smile pulling at his lips.
He suddenly comes to a stop, outside a room.
"Here's your dressing room," he tells her, as he pushes the door open, and she smiles slightly at the bright colours.
She walks in with him, dropping the bag she'd been carrying on the table, as she smiles, her head dropping. Ansel stops some yards behind her, and when she twists to look back at him, he's backed up to the door, with his hand resting on the handle.
"The shoot should behind in a few hours," he tells her.
She raises an eyebrow.
"Should?"
Ansel shakes his head, chuckling slightly under his breath.
"Some people have a knack for delaying it, now and again."
She doesn't ask him to elaborate on that comment. She knows what he means.
Niklaus, his son, has a habit for trying to push his father's buttons, if what Caroline has seen so far is any indication. She thinks of mentioning that if he didn't let it bother him so much, it probably wouldn't occur that often, because it practically has teenage rebellion written all over it, even if it was a little belated, but she shrugs it off. It really wasn't any of her business.
She nods, muttering an, "Okay".
Ansel smiles, and returns her nod.
"Well, Elena, who's the head of makeup, should be here in a few minutes, and the rest of the team will be here once your make up is done."
Caroline smiles at him.
"Thank you," she tells him.
He nods.
"Of course."
He turns to go before he turns back, a smile on his face, eerily similar to that of his son's.
"Rebekah will be here sometime after to show you to where we're shooting. If you have any questions, ask her. I'm sure she'll answer any you might have, and she'll explain the week's schedule to you. We're starting with the 50's theme."
Rebekah's here? She opens her mouth to ask something, but she finds that Ansel is already retreating.
When he disappears through the door, she lets out a sigh of her own, at hearing the door click.
She had a feeling it was going to be a long day.
-/-
Elena's probably one of her favourite people on the make up and fashion team, and she's probably the only one who smiles at her. She's patient, when it's clear that Caroline's freaking out, and when she doesn't sit still. Even more so when Caroline tells her it's her first biggest shoot.
"It'll be fine," the brunette tells her. "I think you'll surprise yourself on how natural it will all come to you."
Caroline smiles at her, thankful for the comment, and she smiles when Elena steps back.
"Right," Elena says. "Done. And you look perfect."
With one last fluff of her blonde curls, Elena nods to someone over her shoulder, and then gives her one last smile.
"Rebekah should be here in a few," she tells her, and then she grins at her overwhelmed expression. "Don't worry," she assures the blonde. "It may be crazy over here, but give it a few days, and I promise you'll get use to it all. And Klaus is actually on time today, Ansel said he's already ready and on set, so we should be good for the schedule. I'll be on set, too, in case you need touching up between breaks, so I'll see you soon."
Caroline nods.
"Thanks, Elena."
Elena grins back, and then shrugs.
"Just don't let Klaus get to you too much."
Caroline raises an eyebrow.
"Funnily enough, you're not the first person to tell me that, today," Caroline tells her, her voice low.
Elena laughs, shaking her head, before she ducks out of the room.
She's barely stood up, having a moment to herself when the door busts open once more, and she sees Rebekah's smug face.
Caroline raises an eyebrow.
"You could knock, you know," she tells her, slowly.
Rebekah snorts, rolling her eyes.
"You wish," but she pauses, raises an eyebrow at Caroline's appearance, and then she smirks, "You look hot, Care."
Caroline narrows her eyes, when she remembers why she was a little pissed at her, but she eventually nods anyway, muttering a "Thank you", underneath her breath because her mother's a sheriff, and would berate her for not using her manners.
Rebekah shakes her head, a knowing glint in her eyes.
"Come on then," she sighs, "Let's get you to set."
Caroline glares, but she willingly goes with her, because the last thing she needs is to be late on her first day. She has a feeling Klaus would nit pick at something like that.
"Don't think we're not talking about your brother and how much of an asshole he is," she warns, pointing a perfectly manicured fingernail at the blonde.
Rebekah grins.
"Please, he's my brother. I'm well aware of how much of a tosser he is."
Caroline's eyes narrow.
"Well, then, thanks for the heads up, friend," she emphasises.
"You're welcome," Rebekah chirps, even as she sticks her tongue out, guiding them in the right direction.
Seriously, Caroline swore that all Mikaelson's gave her whiplash. What was with them?
-/-
Her first shoot is successful. Sort of, anyway. If not the longest few hours of her life, and honestly, she's quite sure she comes close to murdering her costar a few times, and from the smiles on the crew's face, they damn well all know that.
Ansel assures her that they're going to start of simple for today, as they want to judge her chemistry with Klaus, and honestly, she'd deny that she had any sort of chemistry with him, if her job didn't depend on that small detail.
Rebekah smiles infuriatingly at her, when they finally get to the set, as Ansel approaches and she bows her head slightly.
"Rebekah," Ansel greets with a smile.
Rebekah turns her eyes over to the man in front of her, nodding in greeting.
"Ansel," she returns, before she takes a step back. "I'll go make sure the team are set up."
Caroline watches as Ansel's lips twist up.
"Do try to play nice, Rebekah," he tells her, as though a reminder, and Caroline grins at that, having a first hand experience at how mean-girl like Rebekah can get.
Rebekah shoots him a mock incredulous look, full of false innocence.
"Me? Always."
She pops her lips as she walks away, a sway to her hips, and Caroline rolls her eyes, as she twists around.
"Caroline, you look..."
She raises an eyebrow in question, "Like I was born in the 50's?"
He grins, shaking his head, and he steps beside her.
"Come along," he tells her softly. "I'll introduce you to a few more of the crew, and then we'll get you all set with Niklaus."
Honestly, she wants this job but the thought of working with his son makes her teeth grit and her jaw clench. Really, she wasn't even certain that the two of them were related. They were far too different. Rebekah too. Rebekah was nice, to her at least. Klaus was just an ass.
Well, no one couldn't say that Caroline Forbes doesn't strive for excellence, and so she plans to give it her 110% best efforts.
Even if she plans to kill him at the end of the shoot.
Seriously, though, how could anyone be that infuriating?
She smiles politely as her boss introduces her to more people, and if her eyes meet Klaus' as her head snaps up, she merely turns it in the opposite direction and presses her lips firmly together, even if she can still feel his eyes on her the entire time. She goes along, when Elena wants to touch up her make up just before the shoot, and there's a ready fake-plastered smile on her lips when she finishes, and she feels a tap to her shoulder when she turns around.
That smile soon vanishes, howver, when she finds Klaus, staring down at her in all his smug glory.
Her teeth grit together.
"Klaus," she greets, and judging by his raised eyebrow, her lack of warmth is not lost on him.
"Hello, sweetheart," he greets, his lips twitching.
She glares at the nickname, her eyes narrowing.
"Not your sweetheart," she tells him firmly.
He raises an eyebrow, but he doesn't comment further.
"My father says everything is prepared for our shoot," he pauses, his lips pursing, as he takes a step back, and that surprises her a little, because wasn't he supposed to be a womanizer with no regards to anything else other than himself?
"Oh," she mutters. "Good."
He smiles up at her, a genuine one, that makes him look boyish and much younger than he usually does. His eyes are bright as they gleam up at her, and honestly, she can't help but smile back at him. He's infectious.
"Indeed," he murmurs.
Caroline watches as he angles his elbow out towards her, as he nods, "Shall we?"
She blinks for a few seconds, at how nice he's being, and honestly, it probably takes her longer than it should to realise what he's up to, but when she does, she narrows her eyes, her lips twisting down, and her face scrunching up into a nasty scowl. Her shoulders stiffen, as she straightens up, and she takes a step towards him, aiming to march straight passed him.
"Let's be clear," she mutters, her voice firm. "I am way too smart to be seduced by you. I will not be your next bed partner."
Klaus, just looks entirely too amused, and he shrugs, a grin on his lips.
"Well, maybe that's why I like you," he tells her.
She glares, but doesn't give that an answer, and her shoulder pushes past his, as she marches on, though she can feel his eyes on her.
"I thought Ansel was ready for us," she passes over her shoulder.
She doesn't hear him reply, but he's suddenly at her side, with an arm wrapped around her waist, and seriously, he's extremely lucky she hasn't murdered him.
Her head twists to the side to tell him exactly that, but he's staring down at her with a smug smirk.
"Hush, sweetheart," he admonishes. "We're supposed to be show casing our chemistry."
She glares harder.
"Not your sweetheart," she hisses. "I have a fine name, thank you very much. It wouldn't hurt to use it."
Secretly, she wonders if he's already forgot it. He does have quite the reputation, doesn't he?
"Whatever you say, love."
And if that wasn't enough, his hand travels down her form, until it rests on her ass, and he can feel her in his palm.
(Yepp, she was seriously not going to last a few months before she killed him.)
And if Ansel asks why Klaus' left forearm is slightly red, she merely shrugs, and looks up at her costar with a grin.
"Why I can't say," she says with false innocence that is fooling nobody. "He must of fell, right Niklaus?"
Because if he was determined on using nicknames, she wasn't going to call him Klaus just to keep him happy.
"Right," he mutters.
And it's only as Ansel is walking away, and they're changing the angel of the photoshoot, does Klaus allow his hand to dip lower than is socially appropriate, where the cameras can't see, however, and his lips lower to her neck, as instructed by the directors.
"Don't think you're going to get away with that, love," he tells her.
His lips press lightly against her throat, and she hears the flashes of the camera, followed by the happiness of the directors, who encourage them to do more.
She's agitated by his movements, slightly, but she smirks, nonetheless, because it looks like she will, because what can he do about it? Even if the feeling of his lips on her skin raises goosebumps, and creates butterflies in her stomach.
"We'll see," she mutters back, her lips barely moving, as she pouts for the cameras.
"Yes, that's it. Excellent," Caroline vaguely hears in what she remembers is David's voice.
Klaus smirks against her neck, and his arm twists around her bare back, as he shuffles on his feet slightly.
"Well, sweetheart," he murmurs, as he lifts back, and his eyes are intense but so soft as they stare into hers. "I guess we have chemistry."
She has a sassy retort on her lips but Klaus is suddenly dipping her, his hand burning through her skin, and her leg is wrapped around his hip, as the cameras continue on below, and she can't remember help the gasp that escapes her throat.
Though, by the look on his face, Klaus catches it, and he bends towards her once more, his forehead pressing against hers.
"We most certainly have high levels of chemistry," he murmurs.
But honestly, she's still dizzy, and surrounded by everything that is Klaus.
Maybe, she wouldn't get away with it after all.
so what did you guys think?
did you have a favourite part or a favourite line? let me know in a review, i’d love to hear from you!
