Hi everyone! I won’t be taking part in the awards this year, so please keep that in mind when picking your nominations.

For those nominated this year in the awards, before the inevitable comments: If you are nominated, you touched someone with your blog, writing, art, Twitter comments, etc. Period. You created something that made someone laugh or cry, think and feel. That’s special, to connect with people in that way, and it’s what fandom is truly about. Regardless of how many or few are in a fandom, you would not be nominated if someone didn’t see your work and take the time to nominate. Treasure that. But always remember that opinion is not fact. Which leads me to my next point.
For those content creators not nominated, it does not mean your work sucks or everyone hates you. Maybe you are new at your craft and have a few things to work out before your talent fully blooms. Maybe your work just isn’t being seen, for one reason or another. Maybe you write a less popular genre. There’s so many reasons, and none of these reasons or the lack of nomination make your work any less valid. Ever.
The art of creating - of putting words on a page, of manipulating a photo or creating a graphic or being an engaging klaroline fan through posts and tweets - the act of creation is EVERYTHING and no one can take that away from you. I well know how much of one’s soul gets put into words on a page, and i also know how difficult it is to make the translation from brain to page. It’s hard, and it’s worthwhile, and it’s such an accomplishment.
Please don’t be discouraged by anyone trying to minimize your accomplishments. Again, opinions aren’t fact, and while I well know negative opinions are the loudest voice, don’t let them take away the real fact - that you’ve created and touched someone with your work, nominated or not.
Hi guys!
So, basically, I’ve just found out that my best friend, ceruleanblues, have been nominated for the Klaroline Awards! I’m super proud of her for it, and since she doesn’t have a Tumblr account, I reckon I’d help her out! 2 of her oneshots are up for voting.
Best Dark/Angst Drabble/Oneshot: War of Hearts Best Smut Drabble/Oneshot: Come On Closer
I might be biased, here, but Come On Closer is probably my favorite OT3 oneshot by far! Link to vote is here.
Hi, everyone!
First of all, a big, big thank you to everyone who nominated me in the klaroline awards. You guys are awesome, and the best. I’ve been nominated for the Jack of All Trades (under blogs), Most Underrated Gifset Maker (graphics), and Best Smut Fiction for Loving Can Hurt (ff/a03). As a thank you, (and as I’ve been promising for a week), Loving Can Hurt will be updated tomorrow, since I’m feeling a lot better now.
You can vote for your favourites in the klaroline awards here.
Thank you so much for nominating Klaroline Gives Back for Best Fandom Project!
@purestheartslove, @willowaus, and I (thetourguidebarbie) have worked really hard over the last few years to make this project a success, and you guys have been so supportive, especially the people who donated or took the time to contribute incentives.
I really appreciate you guys taking the time to nominate the project! It means a lot <3
You can vote for the talented nominees in the @klarolineawards here!

Many thanks to everyone who nominated me for the Klaroline Awards! It’s a great honor to be among so many wonderful writers in the Author category (AU/AH, Fluff, and Drabble), and I encourage everyone to check out the finalists page and spread some fandom love. Extra thanks to @howeverlongs for the awesome nomination gif, as well as to the entire @klarolineawards team for putting all this together.
Vote, flail, and keep up the good work! We have a lot to celebrate, friends.
Love, Morgan
what time tomorrow are you going to begin to announce the winners?
We’ll be queuing them to post over the course of a few hours :)
don't you think the klaroline awards just showcase the "popular" writers? it's always the same people lol. i see no point
i think you’ve come to the wrong blog? because i’ve never said a word against the klaroline awards, and as someone who was nominated and won a category last year, like idk what you hope to achieve?
i don’t think it’s just for the “popular” fandom members. there ARE categories specified for those who aren’t as much involved in the fandom or who maybe haven’t been here as long? if you really feel that way, don’t nominate or vote (though it would be great if you did), but don’t send messages to people who are obviously involved in them. what’s the point in bringing others down with you?
it’s a lovely fandom event that i know a lot of klaroliners look forward to each year, and for some writiers/graphic makers/blogs that don’t necessarily get a lot of attention, it’s awesome for them to feel appreciated? because let me tell you, as both a fic writer and graphic maker, we don’t get a lot, and we don’t get paid for it either, which some people just don’t seem to realise. so just lay off?
