This month I’ve taken up a whole new technique - printmaking- for my latest MK project. I’ll be making some ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) featuring the character select screen from the klassic MK 1992 arcade game. I’ve also included the two big bosses of the original MK arcade game, GORO and SHANG TSUNG. In coming weeks I will be carving around the black lineart, then print each on a 2.5” x3.5” watercolor paper, and color in with light washes of watercolor by hand. I plan to make at least five sets and conduct a raffle in which four lucky winners will get the Komplete Kard sets. Stay tuned as I will continue sharing the progress and wait for the announcement!
