I have a question(s) about ycmc if that's ok (I hope you cam answer without giving too much of the plot away). so I haven't watched the originals, but I've watched most of tvd. ok so y'know how Klaus has a kid with Hayley in the show, is he still going to in ycmc? (because it's most if the plot of the originals, right?). also, I know that Rosie is kind of replacing Caroline from the show (Klaus being in love with her), and I know Caroline and Klaus don't really get a good healthy relationship,, are Rosie and Klaus going to get a happy ever after?? (because I friggen hope so dude)

Yes of course lovey, always happy to answer questions! So sort of spoilers but sort of not bc of the request but the anon who originally requested this series had mentioned having the OC be a werewolf and be the one who got pregnant with Hope instead of Hayley, so he will still be having the baby since you’re right it’s a major plot point in the originals and the whole reason they even go back to New Orleans to begin with.

So since that was one of the main check points of the request for me to rewrite the originals that’s basically why I’ve been doing these half tvd rewrite chapters. I wanted to give Klaus and Rosie more of a backstory than a random hookup just for a forced plot point out of nowhere that Klaus and Hayley have… which also meant since Rosie would have been there from the beginning of Klaus entering the show I just couldn’t see Klaus still being infatuated with Caroline.

Now while the show commited an actual literal crime not having Klaroline be endgame, I WILL absolutely be fixing that and giving Klaus and Rosie such a sweet story so don’t worry!
