Klaus!! I'm curious myself where this will take me, I never considered writing a crossover but here I am. What can I say, Keery gets me in every role.

I already talked about it some here and here, so have a few lines:

"Listen, man," Eddie starts and turns around to face whoever's ego he just bruised, only to be stopped by the sight in front of him. The guy's hot, is the first thing that strikes him, square jaw, full lips, droopy eyes, and a slanted nose. His chestnut hair is slicked back and shaved with racetrack lines, as much a part of his machismo as the combat pants and bulletproof vest he's wearing. Too bad his face is just too pretty for any of it to work. He must have been staring, because the hazel eyes looking back at him narrow even more, his whole face turning into a sneer that's still far more attractive than it has any right to be.

a very belated wrap-up to wip weekend because I unexpectedly had the day from hell yesterday and didn't get much writing done rip

“Okay,” Eddie says, business-like once they’re settled in a vinyl booth with cokes in front of them. “So. Where are we actually headed?” Steve looks up from his menu, eyebrows raised. He balls up his straw wrapper and flicks it across the table at Eddie, watches it bounce off his forehead and into his drink. Eddie gives him a look as he fishes it out with his spoon. “I don’t know,” he says. “This whole thing was your idea. Where do you want to be headed?” Eddie makes a face. “I don’t know. I kind of just want to keep cruising around? Maybe we’ll figure out where we’re going as we go.” “I brought some cash,” Steve says. He flips his wallet open and thumbs through it. “Not a ton, but probably enough to get us to California or whatever if that’s where you want to go.” Eddie’s eyes flash on the other side of the table. “We really doing this, Harrington?” Steve smiles a little, raising his eyebrows. “I mean. We’re in a random diner in Illinois. I think we’ve already started doing it.”

[ducking and rolling] pirates? [warning alarm sounding in the distance]

Eddie tilts his head back to get a look at him, watching from beneath hooded eyes as Steve takes another step toward the bed until he’s close enough that Eddie’s fingers are able to reach out and catch around his wrist. He tugs him in, and Steve goes willingly, letting himself be pulled into position until he’s standing directly in front of him, one of his knees slotting up between his thighs. Eddie looks up at him, eyebrows raised, face softened by the warm glow of candlelight coloring the room. “Is this what you want?” he asks. His hand slides around Steve’s back to tuck ruck up his shirt where it’s tucked into his pants. “To be a pirate’s kept boy?”

Klaus, welcome to the Sleep Token Brainrot!! I'm so so happy you started to listen to them and that my posts inspired this. I got sucked into it by @steves-strapcollection and @vecnuthy and I never looked back 💜

And what a coincidence, those are my favorites too!! And Euclid, I am obsessed with Euclid. I'm still surprised Alkaline was my most listened to song 2023 but Blood Sport and Euclid is the soundtrack to my trip to America this year with my best friend.

Anyway, I hope they bring you lots of joy! I heard new concerts will be announced today, so if you want to see them, keep your eyes open 👀

Snippet for Flufftober Spring Edition. From Day 3 'Spring Cleaning':

Steve opens his daughter’s double-doored wardrobe only to be greeted by her demonic Furby - a formerly beloved and prized plushie that also terrorised the family with late-night chirping for far too long until he had worked out how to remove the batteries. He shudders at the thought of the manual Eddie had managed to track down, filled with faceless Furbys being exorcised and deprogrammed. He reaches forward and excitedly plucks the toy from its quiet resting spot and turns to his partner. “We can finally get rid of this thing,” he beams, only to be met with a frown. “Not Mr Furby,” Eddie says all wide-eyed with worry.

Hello!! I'm glad more people think that's a fun wip title than just me 😂😂

I've written a little about it here and here - but basically, I just want Steve to take his clothes off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ he is the nudie patootie

Dustin is a bully is a wip I started this morning, actually, so there is precious little in it lol. Just that I've been thinking about how much of an asshole he was in S4 to Steve, and how people on my dash are worried that Dead Eddie is going to take Steve's place in Dustin's life in S5, and how if Steve dropped Tommy and Carol because they wouldn't stop being assholes, he can do it again. It would suck, and it would hurt, but he could do it.

Nudie Patootie

Eddie was joking before, playing it up, teasing. But he really can feel the faint flush start to creep its way across his cheeks. He knows Steve, he knows what he looks like when he wakes up in the morning and when he goes to sleep, when he’s happy and when he’s sad.

He also knows what Steve looks like when he’s trying to seduce him. That subtle drop in his voice, the way he holds himself, the way he looks at Eddie.

Steve’s succeeding.

Standing in the centre of their living room, in a beam of sun, right where Eddie can see him. In front of the easel like he belongs there. He was built for it. He brings an arm up, flexing as he reaches behind his head, tilting his head so he can make sure Eddie’s watching.

Dustin is a Bully

“If you’re gonna continue to bully me, dude,” Steve starts, brows furrowing; lips pursed in a tight, angry line. “I don’t think I want to be your friend anymore.”

“What?” Dustin replies indignantly, whipping around to face Steve, mouth hanging open. What the hell is Steve talking about? He’s not a bully? He’s one of the nerds, the freaks, he’s the one who gets sneers from jocks and got pushed around on the playground by the bigger kids. He can’t be a bully, it’s like,, in the rules of high school. Steve must’ve gotten hit on the head harder than Dustin thought.
