Klenta Real Tired and Rhaanah Pretty Flattered pls :DDDD
Armor-smiths! You all should watch this documentary, if you can!
PBS: Secrets of the Shining Knight
Peeps, did you know that some really fancy armor suits could deflect a shot from a musket???
It’s a super cool doc that talks about the crafting of armor, and how it stood up to some of the newer weapons of the time; namely, hand-canons and muskets.
A whole lot of it could easily relate to GW2 headcanons; from what it takes to actually make armor pieces, to how mobile a person really is in about 70lbs of armor. There’s also a super cool shot of a piece of foot armor that is so mobile, it moves like a metal sock made of plates. Look at this!
If you’re a nerd and/or just like to learn, do check it out! Then draw your rifle and pistol wielding kids ‘testing’ the armor of your armor-smith kids, that ought to be fun.
Headshots made for that “what do their roars sound like” video. We each drew our own characters.
“That documentary” being this one right here, one about medieval armor and how it stood up (or didn’t) to musket shots and the like.
Don’t shoot at Klenta, especially not if she’s engrossed in a documentary.
UNFORTUNATELY THIS CAME OUT REALLY FREAKIN’ LOUD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. LOWER YOUR VOLUME FIRST. PLEASE. But don’t mute it, the entire point of this post is the sound.
This is something we’ve been wanting to make for a while now.
What do our Charr characters’ roars sound like?
P.S. Tibor can also do this
Audio from Sounddogs.com, featuring tiger noises, lion noises, puma noises, jaguar noises, a monster/alien screech, and a cheetah chirp. More info in the tags, and if you’d like to know more about who makes what noise and why, feel free to ask.
What do your Charr sound like?
I drew these after The Announcement last week (Aug. 1st) My children and their reactions to their new toys.

The children are growing up!
Aeon, Klenta and Jherli have some new armor!
