Features Julian and Arret as protagonists.
Main themes contain: found family, mortality, discrimination, class divide, and godhood.
This is a fantasy/slice of life, centering around them living in a countryside cottage and working through their issues together. They both have to eventually adapt to higher living within The Capitol due to Julian's duties, despite not belonging in the slightest. A peculiar Goddess is quite mean to them for... reasons.
Their ending is rather bittersweet.

Focused on two teenagers forced into captivity by a ruthless company, Delta Corporations. They are relentlessly tested and experimented on by scientists with a personal vendetta, growing codependent on each other in the process.

They have a forbidden love story because of discrimination. How fun! They don't care though, and run away to start a band together, making music that can be enjoyed by anyone.

They are very heavily based on the friendship between Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun,,, wow so crazy i know (I js love their relationship a lot,, it's so cool 💞) I also use tøp songs to explain like 50% of their story HELP
But in a simple explanation, they're very close. In the way that Alex would commit to doing absolutely anything stupid with Hitori, and vice versa. They laugh and cry together, they spend weeks on end with each other. They create together. They're always together because they truly understand each other, and everyone needs someone like that.
Alex started making music as a way to vent out the anger he felt, stemming from being treated horribly his whole life for being a hybrid. Not everyone was awful to him, but the cruelty stuck to him like sap.
He met Hitori through a program for troubled teens, and they started bonding over their love for music despite their wildly different backgrounds.
Hitori is from a well off family, although that didn't come without its own issues. Her parents (particularly her father) had a terrible gambling problem and was in debt, which lead to her sorta leaning on Alex to get away from that whole situation. She eventually proposes the idea of essentially eloping when they turned 18, since their music had started to take off. So they did.
Through their music, they realize they can bring humans and hybrids together, even if just for a brief moment. They even hoped maybe, it could help longterm too.
I love them oh so very much <333 I call them my little heteros, which isn't even true cos Alex is bi and Hitori is pan LMAO it's js funny to me cos ppl always assume they're straight 😭😭😭
