I remember, when 'THINGS OLD & NEW' was announced last year, I sent this photo to my folks, because that was the only way they were going to believe there was actually a Klimsdorf exhibit happening in my hometown after like a decade and a half of radio silence from him. The whole thing was surreal. I've certainly never seen so many multi-colored artisanal dicks in one room before or since.

Regarding your klimsdorf post a while back. Could it be Etzel kolmsdorf? he was a german artist and for a good while he was painting while your mom was alive. Id describe quite a few of his paintings as colourful and despite being quite obscure there would have been quite a few exhibitions of him while you’re mum was alive especially if she lived in or visited austria or germany. Cant find any info on whether he was gay though he never married and has no kids so there’s a chance. Hope this helps

Look, I've said it before and I'll say it again, if some random on the internet claims to be selling you an official limited edition 'Klimsdorf' NFT, then they are lying to you. NFTs are obviously already a grift in and of themselves, but Klimsdorf certainly hasn't ever released any. These are the few fakes I've seen floating around, if you see something like this report it to the Klimsdorf estate:

Does anyone remember what year Klimsdorf broke up with his 2rd husband? I'm tryna win an argument but neither of us can find the exact date. I'm saying it was around 1993 because that's when he released 'And So I Shout' to the public and you know how gloomy that painting was 😬

And my friend is saying like 1984 or 1985 but that doesn't make sense cause he was working on the 'Colorful World, Colorful You' project and that project is way too happy and vibrant to be made by someone going through a breakup??
