I love Klinger so much, because of his commitment. If wearing women's clothes was just a bit, purely a ploy to get a medical discharge, he could have just thrown it on and been done with it.

But no. This man was committed. He made his own, he altered the outfits he ordered to fit best, he examined women's magazines and kept up on trends and styles. He knew how to put an outfit together, to accessorise and co-ordinate. He even managed to pull others into accepting it, like when Henry tells him to get out of his housecoat and put on a dress because its gone 2 o'clock.
