One of the funny things about Eschenbach's Parzival is the fact that Clinschor just chills in the background, even after Gawain becomes the owner of Schastel Marveile. There's also the implied fact that Clinschor and Arnive had a thing, seeing as Argive knew how to give background information about him to her grandson and knew how to explain how the stuff in the castle worked. You'd think that he'd be defeated by Gawain, but, no, instead this guy is still running around somewhere out there. 😆

klingsor talking machines by Al Q Via Flickr: Klingsor talking machines were manufactured in Germany beginning around 1904. The piano wire strings were touted as vibrating in resonance with the music, thereby enhancing the sound. There were a number of Klingsor models, tabletop and upright. They were still being sold in the UK into the 1920's.
