2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?
I really love a good fake dating fic but I haven’t found a way to make that really interesting. If I ever have an idea for a unique fake dating setting I’d love to write that.
9. Which fic has been the hardest to write?
I very nearly scrapped She sends the rain when I was halfway through writing it because I thought none of it made sense or was any good. It was my second fic and people enjoyed my first one so much that I was worried it wouldn’t live up to that standard. And then I did finish writing it and was really proud of what I turned it into.
10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?
I still don’t know what happened to me but I wrote Simmer until tender in only a few weeks. I have been chasing that natural flow ever since and haven’t experienced it again.
20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.
when I’m supposed to be doing something else sdsfgsdfg
I often write as a way to procrastinate so I’m not very picky about my surroundings. I used to write on my commute a lot, back when I used to leave the house to go to work. I find it really hard to start writing when I sit down with my laptop with the goal of writing, that’s somehow intimidating, but once I get over that it’s still how I get most of my writing done. The only thing I really need is music. If there’s no background music my brain refuses to do anything.
