As a female, I understand the struggle it is to put on the “Perfect Cat-Eye Eyeliner” as most women know.  It is most definitely an art.  Most of us can do it while stuck in Dallas/Ft. Worth Traffic in the morning (but I do not recommend it!) because we are busy and do not have time.  Well...a group of guys decided they wanted to try it...thinking that putting on eye-liner would be easy! A new Dinosaur has been discovered!! The dino was found in Canada and they are saying that it is a cousin to the Triceratops.  This new Dino has a unique horn on its nose that separates it from the Triceratops.  They named it after its discoverer Wendy Sloboda - calling it Wendiceratops Pinhornensis.  This guys has been estimated to be 79 million years old, making in the OLDEST memever of the Ceratopsidea family ever found! Taco Bell to start delivering its food?! The fast food chain announced yesterday afternoon that you can now order delivery in 90 cities across the US!!  Good news for us in Dallas... Dallas is among the cities they are doing it at.  The downside is they are saying it could take up to 45 min to deliver the food so hope you are not in too big of a hurry for some T-Bell

Amazon turns 20!! In celebration, they are going to have such great deals that it has been said it will challenge those of Black Friday!  So shoppers unite on July 15th starting at midnight!  Amazon stated that they are going to release new deals EVERY 10 MINUTES!! So on July 16th I might be sidetracked and tired but I am ready for what is being called “Prime Day”

Is the Boston Museum of Science smarter than a 10th grader?  Well...Maybe not, in June 15 year old Joseph Rosenfield visited the museum with his family on vacation from Virginia.  While in the museum he noticed that the Golden Ratio Equation was a little off in the Mathematica: A World of Numbers...and Beyond.  This exhibit is nothing new to the museum, it actually has been there for nearly 35 years!

How about this...a “Ruthless Biker” was issued a “Ticket” for illegally parking his bike at a ferry Terminal in Halifax.  That “ruthless biker” as a mere 3 years old.  His father said he is a huge fan of police so when his father saw one he approached him and that is when they came up with the idea to give him a “ticket”  The photo is just as priceless as the story! A pastor of a church in North Carolina takes a stand by raising the Christian Flag above the American Flag.  It has caused quite a stir in North Carolina.  When asked his reasoning, Pastor Rit Varriale stated that we should be committed to God first, then country.  He is also a veteran and knows how much he loves his country but knows where he stands with his faith.

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin has stated that the 10 Commandments are to stay at the Oklahoma State Capital despite the ruling last week by the Oklahoma Supreme Court 7-2 that the statue was unconstitutional.  They are in the process of appealing the ruling.

Top Trends on Thursday June 18th

A New Feeling

Has there ever been a moment in your life that made you realize how much someone trusts you?

Because that moment has just hit me. Currently I am in the studio for 94.9 KLTY where I work as the producer for Night Light with Andrea. Which is where you can normally find me each week night. Though this night, Andrea is out of town.

So I am alone. To run the board and to keep the show on air. One mistake from me can lead to dead air. And dead air in radio is a DEATH SENTENCE. 

I am in awe. In awe that I got this job the week I graduated from college. In awe that they chose me over other super qualified contenders. In awe that they trust me. A 23-year-old, only been in the radio business for three months, post-grad to run the entire show this evening. I mean, I am standing where radio legends have stood. Where wonderfully successful artists and bands have stood for interviews.

Never in my life have I felt this trusted. And it is a truly humbling feeling. I also feel very accomplished. Even I'm not very accomplished in anything really. And in a few weeks I will do this on my own for a whole week. 

I can't wait for more moments like this. Every moment like this I owe to God. He provided me with the opportunities that led to this feeling and for that I am truly grateful. 

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
