Just as he had left his apartment, the elevator floors dinging by extremely slow today, he feels his phone vibrate in his pocket for an oncoming text message. Today wasn’t anything out of the ordinary nor was he busy, but it was his day to relax and do things for himself for once. The doors open, two more people boarding on, then they move further down again. It was his fault for picking the highest floor possible.
The text has his draw jobbing, however more out of shock than anything, and he doesn’t realize a strained noise escapes until the two women are stealing awkward glances. Bail money, how completely normal to be asked this but him of all people. Perhaps he came off as more trustworthy and dependable than he thought.
( SMS → Haru ): Not what I expected from you. You’re not the one in jail, are you?
( SMS → Haru ): How much is it and give me reasons before I can just say yes.
And... maybe pickpocketing wasn’t such a smart move after all. Someone caught her and whether she liked it or not, she’d be kept in jail until someone comes to bail her out. During the process of the policemen filing documents and whatever they needed to do, she grabbed her hand and texted the first person she could think of -- none of her other friends were all that kind. Perhaps that was the main reason why she decided to ask help from him, despite the fact that her language might be a little rude and not so much of the whole ‘begging’ type.
( text :: myungsoo ) haven’t you learned that I’m full of surprises? what you don’t expect from me is what you’ll get from me.
( text :: myungsoo ) it’s me, unfortunately. i would have gotten out of this if it wasn’t for this old lady
( text :: myungsoo ) 200,000 won, hopefully that’s... not too much? i’ll pay back as soon as i get out of this place. i promise.
The policemen were rushing her to stop using her phone, Haru wasn’t entirely sure of how to deal with the whole situation since her secret could possibly be blown if she had to stay at the police station any longer, all she could do was hope the man would show up within 10 minutes or so -- only if people could fly, though.
