oh my god I finally solved my stupid kmplayer problem

and do you know what it was? it only works when my laptop is plugged into power. whenever it’s just on battery, kmplayer refuses to cap and just crashes.

honestly bless that one forum response that told me but that’s literally the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard? apparently windows downgrades the graphics driver to save power when on battery or something

Today I almost lost it. Stupid KMPlayer wouldn’t capture frames. I had to reinstall it over 7 times, I also restored my computer to an earlier state. Then, after 7 HOURS, after over 40 tries, it started working again. wtf!?

so to those, who have problems with this... it might work the 3rd time u do this, but aynway... I restored my comp, then I did what I had done previously... I went to preferences ---> DVD Settings --> Navigator --> CHECK the first square.

It probably won’t work the first time!

can anyone pls help me with my kmplayer??? i can’t make gifs ugh

so basically what it does is when i try to take screenshots, it works for a while, but when it has taken about 80 caps it start lagging (i have no idea what the word in english is tbh) also the sound doesn’t work on any type of file (that doesn’t bother me so much cuz i only use kmplayer to cap with)

help someone???

kmplayer is reeeeeeally annoying me

okay so i've had this issue for a while, but most of the time i just ignore it because it doesn't do it with all my dvds. just some of them. which makes no sense.

it won't let me skip/fast forward in a scene? like if i want to go halfway through the video i'll click there but it just goes back to where it was and won't let me skip forward.

and it's super annoying because hello, with capping and giffing i just want to go to a specific scene. 

it's so aggravating can anyone help?? or does anyone else have this issue so i know it's not just me??

Okay, I'm having a HUGE problem with KMPlayer.

So this has been going on for a while and I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the program and it didn't work. 

Basically after the update KMPlayer asks you to do, everything I go to capture the frames to make the gifs and I click start the program completely frozes. Every single time. 

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, probably not since I didn't see anyone with this type of problem here yet but me. 

But this is huge for me because KMPlayer is the software I've been using for years now and it is the best to capture caps to make gifs. I've tried VLC but it's not the same at all. 

I REALLY need help, my 'giffing career' (lol what?) is in danger here...

Well I updated my KMplayer to the latest version (3.9.1.129) and now it freezes every time I try to take screencaps of like 95% of the videos in my library. I have NO idea why it takes issue with some and not others, it doesn't seem to be a file type issue, but idk. It just freezes and closes. I even uninstalled and reinstalled, nada. So I guess now I can't make gifs? Until it updates again or I figure something out Ugh. Anyone else having this issue or have suggestions?
