What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

HaHA! Okay like I said he was an Oblivion playthrough first. I knew I wanted to do the Dark Brotherhood questline, I wanted to pick all of the [Say Nothing] dialogue options, and I wanted to become a vampire. So, there's the origins of him as a standoffish murder cultist. I could never make him work as a vtm vamp tho, so, that part got dropped.

Here's an ancient sins picture of him crawling out of the sewers for the first time. plus a slight horrible rework i did like a month later

Another bit of trivia from that is he was originally mute, based on the dialogue options. It's not that intense anymore, but this mage version of the character still did have to give himself speech therapy to overcome language difficulties from childhood neglect.

How did you choose their name and why? Was it simply based on vibes or is there any specific meaning behind the name? Are the reasons behind their name different in- and out of universe?

'Felix' I thought sounded nice, I guess. I wasn't sure at the time if I was going to make him an Imperial or a Breton, so I went with something that could be either. It does work for his MTA verse though, since it means 'luck' and he's an entropy mage. Bad luck, w/e. In universe it's probably also ironic, spiteful.

'Wickhart' I just fuckin made up man idk. If it's a real name, I don't wanna know. A couple times I've tried to use it as a username and it's been taken, which. Hmm.

That's a good question... I always joke saying he's a gremlin who drinks mt. dew & Monster energy drinks. But to be honest he probably prefers sports drinks & water.

For alcohol he's of the mind of "whatever gets me drunkest, fastest"

Vance isn't really the type who's going to be seen drinking wine casually at a party unless it's alone in his room lol

Both. As much as he hates attention he hates people physically acknowledging him more. Some of it is hand shyness but its mostly sublimated into disgust for people in general. Disgust at idea of them touching him.

Which results in him being ridiculously touchstarved. Like yeah he'll get a little dizzy if you punch him and not just from the impact. Like he gets weirdly handsy when butchering meat kind of touchstarved. Casual touch is the largest amount of affection you can get out of him. Leaning against someone or touching their hands is a love song from this guy.

Dust. In addition to being his literal soultwin, Dust was there with him and for him when he killed his dad, the other biggest figure in his life. They were retrofitted to being the only pillar of his psyche, basically. He would absolutely crumble without them.

What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?

Felix has a notoriously porous memory, so whats real and what he remembers aren't nearly 1:1. That being said

Probably that he's content with and accepting of his whole situation, fate, deal, etc.

That he doesnt resent his father, the cult members, his avatar, the fact that he's widderslainte. He says over and over that he's soooo grateful to have a purpose because it's the only reason he gets out of bed or doesnt off himself. He's trying very hard to ignore that without all of it on his shoulders, he wouldn't be so apocalyptically miserable
