They need no introduction, as we expect most of our listeners to be already very familiar with who these two people are. Earlier today, Kevin Saunderson had sent out a mass email regarding the recent tragedy concerning Paris Grey, the original vocalist for Inner City. He is asking for support for our beloved performer, who has endured the loss of her daughter.
Below is the letter in Saunderson's own words:
Dear friends,
Inner City's Paris Grey, needs our help.
Very sadly, Paris recently lost her daughter Chanel to cancer. After the costs involved in that battle, she is struggling to meet the financial requirements of funeral arrangements.
If you have been positively influenced by Paris' contributions to the world of Dance Music, we are asking that you consider helping us raise funds to ease the burden. Any amount is helpful, and equally, if you could pass this call to action around to anyone else whom you think may be sympathetic to her situation, we'd greatly appreciate that as well. Outside of the standard gofundme commissions, it goes without saying that all money received for this goes directly to Paris.
