Thank you for this submittal - i'm going to reply to this in a more general sense because there are a few others similar to this in my box. i love Jikook too. A lot. But i know not to let it take over my life - as many should learn to do. As for Jikook rescuing you, it's quite alright to have something in life to look forward to and if it's a ship or a band or an event, that's fine. What's not fine is when one starts to really dangerously live vicariously through them or when and if they become one's sole reason for breathing. Just learn to draw the line in the sand and it'll be a happier and healthier fascination. Nothing in life is ever final and we all need to remember that JiKook is a ship, not a reality because it's unconfirmed and even when/if it does get confirmation, i doubt they would ever want our lives to revolve around their relationship. They are two people who love and adore one another, yes, but that doesn't mean they can't love and adore others at the same time or in the future. Because things change, feelings change and people change too. It's reality. We, as humans, love the idea of love and tend to get very attached to things that portray it. I think that's why so many of us Jikook shippers adore this ship - the adoration is plain as sunlight on a summer day. And aren't we all a bit dramatic at times? Of course. Nothing is wrong with being called that at all. I mean look at Jin. He can be the most dramatic with his Worldwide Handsome shenanigans, but we love it because it brings smiles and laughter. Again, there is nothing wrong with having something to look forward to each day, especially when it can bring you warmth and happiness. Just remember that you have to have realistic expectations as well, especially when it's an unconfirmed ship. I would advise you to love them individually first. A couple is only as happy as their own person is. Like BTS promotes, love myself before loving others. I hope this answers some or most of your questions. If not, feel free to shoot me another ask.
