i love whatevers wrong with hanako. that boy has never experienced an emotion normally in his life death and its extremely obvious. he meets an alive person who can see him for the first time in decades and immediately clings onto them like hes gonna die again if he doesnt. he treats her like shes a tree and hes a binturong. he gets so attached to her he makes a whole fake world for her, knowing he'll never be able to talk to her again, just so he'd know she was safe and alive instead of dying like she was in reality. he sacrificed her best friend and decided it was fine because, in his words, he liked her better than her friend. he tries multiple times to get her to forget about him because he thinks itd be easier for her. he consistently tries in the most fucked up ways to protect her because he loves her so deeply and has no idea how to deal with that in a healthy way. im begging for him to just communicate but alas, he has no idea how to.

i think bojack horseman is like The Show of all time because like ,, theres absolute tragedies happening and in basically the same breath the funniest thing the writers couldve possibly done is happening just because they somehow happened to think of it. like youre telling me

• princess carolyn and her boyfriend, vincent, whos really 2-3 kids in a trenchcoat (no one but bojack notices that hes 2-3 kids in a trenchcoat and everyone thinks bojacks just joking or jealous) break up because PC saw vincents head child out with his mom and thought vincent had a wife and a kid he wasnt telling her about. she calls him pissed and the head kid shows up at her apartment out of the costume saying his name is kevin and he wants to explain but when PC asks where vincent is he decides to pretend to not be 2-3 kids in a trenchcoat for even longer and just lets them break up.

• bojacks having trouble figuring out if him and the girlfriend he just got together with after finding out she just woke up from a 30 year coma are going too fast or not (they are) after she moves in with him, which was his idea.

• diane and mr peanutbutter arrive home after spending dianes birthday doing everything she wanted to do, he asks if she wants anything else, and end up fighting after she opens their door and finds out mr peanutbutter planned a huge birthday party for her knowing she hates big events like that. mr peanutbutter admits he doesnt want diane to follow her dreams because she'll be leaving him to do it, but they just say everythings fine when its not to avoid accepting that theyre too different to be married.

• todd gets stuck in princess carolyns car after she says she'll drive him home (because bojack and wanda, the girlfriend, left him at the party and bojack was his ride) but then doesnt because the whole vincent thing, his phone and princess carolyns work phone end up falling in love because of a glitch, forcing him to "let them kiss" but todds phone decides she doesnt want to feel love and asks him to update her.

• paul mccartney jumps out of a cake at the party after it was mentioned once only to find an empty room because the party had long ended.

all in the same episode ????? and this is just how the entire show is ????????

But-! I'm kidding; this really touched my heart so much... He means a lot to me, so getting to have a theme with me AND him?? GAH. I wish I could put it into words better!!!!! But know that I'm resisting the urge to spend all of our time staring at this lovely theme!

Honestly, though... Speaking of that, might ask for other themes sometime. I know someone else has been considering making their own blog, and finding an ideal theme has been. Agonizing. (Alas, we don't really use rentry or anything like that... Closest thing we could theoretically use graphics for is, like...SimplyPlural?? But geez. Wouldn't want to stress you out or anything!)

Basically... I hope that's alright~! We may not have small requests in mind (yet), but. We also do love the work you do so much. ♡

i meant it when i said im watching supernatural with the subtext that theyre fucking offscreen because theres just no way it makes sense otherwise. like theyre getting mad at each other on screen and instead of talking because cas doesnt quite understand emotions yet (angel and his main human education is through the winchesters) and dean is so emotionally constipated im surprised he didnt burst before cas existed, they are having absolutely vile and honestly probably problematic sex offscreen. and they just pretend it never happened the next day because what the fuck do you even say about the angry sex youre having so you Dont have to communicate?
