You'd think that if anyone had a proper grasp on themself it would be Ava. He seems to have it all together and figured out. He has his hobbies and interests, his friends, family and enemies, he has his goals and ambitions, likes and dislikes-
But truth be told he is a lot more fragile than he himself is aware of.
One of Avas biggest issues, one that will eventually become his biggest obsticle is his deep adoration and worship of his older brother Squalo. While it right now still drives him to get better and catch up to him, he eventually will plateu because of this. He may not realize it himself, but with how deeply he admires Squalo and his skill he often puts him on an unattainable pedastal and he subconsciously wants to keep it that way. He unknowingly stunts his own selfgrowth and his maturing process because he clings to his title of Squalos younger brother. A younger brother is cute, they follow their older brother, they adore their older sibling and they will never overcome them, always be one step behind.
As long as Ava believes that his entire identity is being Squalos younger weaker brother, he will never be able to truly come into his own. Even if absolutely unaware of it, Ava does not truly believe in himself. Who is he if you remove his connection to his older brother?
