Favorite ship for the muse?
For Setsuka, I have so many, but my favorite platonic ship is YoshiSetsu. She grew up with Yoshio (formerly known as Dmitri during her time in the lab) always watching over her and keeping her company. He was always silent, but he had a devotion so strong that when her freedom was compromised with false promises, he took her away from it (with the help of her father) and risked his life asking for help from a family (the Vongola) he often sank his teeth when he was working under the government.
My other favorite ships is her with Chrome and Ayaka ( @eternitas 's ava) and Yui (a friend's oc). Each girl brings out a new side that she didn't know existed until they brought it out of her by simply standing by her side and encouraging her. Chrome especially helped bridge the gap between her and Takeshi, who wordlessly worries for her. Chrome and her are similar in which they didn't know how to react to kindness from others, so Chrome related her experiences to Setsuka
How similar are you and the muse?
We are similar in that we like games and adventures in stories, but she is definitely more timid than I am and who can blame her. She spent most of her life isolated from people. That being said, we both grow when we are given the chance to from the bonds we share with others.
Favorite thing about writing the muse?
Probably the growth she gains with the bonds she shares. The story takes place in Namimori High School after the series ends and a lot of her story is more 'coming of age' kind of story, where it focuses on friendships and growing into the person you wanna become. There is light romance with Yamamoto, but it isn't a real focus and he's actually the one with the (eventual) crush on her (though she starts to show affection towards him in a quiet manner, like joining the baseball team as a manager or hiding behind him first when she is nervous).
