I will be leaving tumblr for some time to focus on improving my drawings.
I might still be updating fics and whatnot, but I don’t think I will be uploading any art for now.
I need a breather because tumblr has been making me stressed.
And while I am away for a break to practice my drawing, I will be spending some time thinking about what drawing means to me.
I started drawing because it is my hobby and passion. However, lately I am finding it to be extremely stressful. I feel like I have to draw good, improve fast and please everyone who looked at it. It made me feel like I had to hurry up and decide on an art style instead of slowly discovering and experimenting with them. It is no longer something that I find relaxing. Instead, it has become the source of my anxiety.
I hope to seek everyone(my followers)’s understanding, and that perhaps I will return soon to draw again, and also to draw with confidence, like how I once was.
I recently got White mage Kuroko and Demon King Akashi(Of course I would get them together) and was listening to the voice over of the avatar.
Kuroko said something along the lines of it being just right for hiding his bed hair (LOL) so this just sort of pop into my head.
So there’s a scene in knbcc where Kise asked Akashi how many valentine chocolates he had received last year(Teiko 3rd year), to which Akashi explained that he didn’t receive any as he told his admirers one-by-one that he would acknowledge their feelings in exchange for not taking the chocolate.
