I'm a perpetual early bird, so here is my part of @knbexchange 's Valentine/White Day exchange. Surprise, @evelhak , I was your partner! And I don't only have these silly drawings to present to you, but a fic too!! These drawings are actually more-like bonus content that takes place after the fic. The fic details Momoi and Aomine's complicated thoughts as they help kagakuro prepare for a date night, which involves; makeovers, philosophical conversations, gift hunting, emotional confrontations...all that good stuff that you said you liked! I hope I did a good job capturing those things. I didn't get to go into how the date goes in the fic itself, so I figured I would draw it out. :D Can you spot the little hard-to-see surprise in pic 1?

Title: Tinted Chapstick and the Revelations Made in the Home Goods Aisle of a Department Store

Rating: Teen and Up (for some swearing)

Warnings: swearing (aomine and kagami's fault lol), introspection, mentions of one-sided kuromomo (a little bittersweet, but its for plot purposes and has a happy end!!)

Summary: It was their senior year of high school, and it had been off to an amazing start for Kagami, with he and Kuroko upgrading their status from basketball partners to romantic (yet still basketball) partners. But...there's an issue. Actually, a few issues - five (5) of them to be exact. It seemed Kagami would never escape the Generation of Miracles even after defeating the bastards, who take it upon themselves to stay actively involved in Kuroko's (and now, unfortunately, Kagami's) life. Yet, Kuroko is smiling so much more now than he ever has before now that things are normal(ish) between them all.

And so, as his devoted boyfriend, Kagami is going to give it his all and try to get along with the rainbow weirdos. Could this be the start of their friendship arc? Kagami has no idea, but for Kuroko, he's willing to try his damn hardest to like them - well, that's a bit much, maybe tolerate them, at the very least.

This event will be run as an anonymous exchange

Participant preference is to not know who your gifter is until gifts are posted. Interaction between gifter and giftee is encouraged in this exchange in the form of anonymous asks on tumblr / asking mods to play messenger, but please try not to reveal your identity until after you've posted your gift!
