Behold! Possibly my only contribution to KNDtober and its Mr.Fizz x Persephone lmao. Featuring some snippets of their future together! In their sixties and still going strong.
Come on, it's soda theme day! I just had to use my favorite soda man along with the song that's been stuck in my head lately lol.
“Come on, Angelo! You’ve got to sing it for Seph! It's like it was made for you and her!” Circe begged her brother-in-law/ father figure. Thirty years old, and she was still whining to him about being romantic and sweet with Persephone. This girl, he swore. She’d never grow up.
“Qué no, Circe! I’m not singing some boy band song from a kids' movie to your sister!” Mr.Fizz’s cheeks grew red as he struggled to continue reading his paper.
This new kids' movie called Kpop Demon Hunters had recently come out, and as expected, it was a hit with annoying brats everywhere. He could hardly do anything without hearing at least one child blaring the songs from an iPad or phone. Some even started using the blasted Soda Pop song to taunt him during soda raids!
Kids these days, the nerve.
And now even in his own home, he couldn't escape it since Circe kept watching the movie on repeat whenever she visited!
“Please! It's cute! Come on!” She begged him like she was ten years old again, wanting him to be Persephone’s knight in shining armor.
“No!”
Persephone giggled a little as she set down a bottle of root beer by his side. While she passed by, she bent down to give his cheek a small kiss.
“Leave Angelo be, Circe. It's his day off.” Mr.Fizz turned his cheek, leaning into the soft kiss.
“Yes and I’d like to spend it not being pestered about this canción estúpida.” As if on cue, the movie began to play the Soda Pop section of the movie. Circe gasped, pointing at the screen. Mr.Fizz had to scream internally at the bad timing.
“Its fate! Destiny wants you to sing!”
“No- oh fine! If it will make you leave me be. Esta nina…” He mumbled the last part before swiveling to face Persephone.
When he saw his wife’s soft, smiling face his heart beat began to pick up. Even in their sixties she still had a way of making him feel like a lovestruck schoolboy.
Persephone smirked teasingly as she leaned down.
“Oh? You’re singing me a song?”
“Silencio.” He cleared his throat and glanced at the screen, waiting for the part of the song he somewhat knew.
“...I'm empty, you feed me, so refreshin'. My little soda pop.” He began, his heart hammering in his chest. Persephone giggled softly. He was so cute when he got flustered.
“You're all I can think of, every drop I drink up.” She continued for him. When she joined in a smile formed on Mr.Fizz’s lips. Such a stupid song, but it sounded like an angel’s choir coming from her.
“You're my soda pop, my little soda pop.” He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her onto his lap, earning a small, surprised squeak from her.
“Cool me down, you're so hot, pour me up, I won't stop.” He buried his face into her neck, inhaling her scent as he sang along. Persephone leaned back, reaching her hand back so she could lightly touch his cheek. Her thumb lightly ran across his upper lip to smooth out his lovely, greying mustache.
“You're my soda pop, my little soda pop.” They continued together now, giving each other that ditzy, loving look they always did whenever they were together.
“Bleh, gross. I said sing, not get all touchy and kissy.” Circe stuck her tongue out and blew a small raspberry.
“You told me to be romantic, so I am.” Mr.Fizz paid her no mind, simply snuggling against Persephone.
“You’re going to break your hip one of these days pulling me onto your lap like that.”
“I’m old, not frail. I’ll keep pulling you onto my lap until the day I die.” He pressed a chaste kiss against her shoulder, sending a shiver down Persephone’s spine.
“Good thing I’m a doctor then. I can take care of you when you get bedridden.” Persephone shifted so she was facing him. A soft smile graced her lips as did his. Mr.Fizz’s calloused, weathered hands came to rest on her hips, lest she fall and become the one with a broken hip.
“Te amo. Mi pequeño refresco.” He leaned in to press a soft kiss to her lips which she happily returned.
“Te amo, mi amor.” She mumbled in between kisses.

This is a repost of my own art regarding an edit I made for the KND Moonbase, acting as sort of a concept background art for what it could look like for GKND.
Includes a brighter version of the background signaling that the Moonbase is charging up for... something.
some angst, featuring @kommandonuovidiavoli oc Penny and set in their teenau!
I love their stuff and I always like wondering how my oc's stories would go inside their main universe. Circe's and the Delightful's story would be so tragic in this universe since they are unable to age, especially between her and Lenny as they were each other's first crush. Circe here would definitely feel for Joey and Penny since they ultimately have to go through the same thing
I'd like to think in this universe, she would befriend the Delightful Children like before, but Father attacks her when he finds out about their friendship. Upon seeing the danger she's in just for being their friend, they make the choice to stop being friends with her for her sake. Despite repeated attempts to rekindle their friendship, they keep their distance in fear of what might happen ;w;
“We’ll give you a suggestion. Leave the KND and don’t ruin our future plans, and no one will get hurt.” Came the crooning of five monotonous voices.
“Sorry, I can’t and I won’t do that.” Penny bravely stared down the Delightful Children, her eyes narrowed. It didn't matter how dangerous she was told they were. It didn't matter that they had subtly threatened her to leave the KND. She wasn't bending to their whims anytime soon.
The five cursed children didn't like that one bit. Their eyes narrowed, the smug smirks dropping from their lips. Who did this brat think she was?
No matter. She wouldn’t get in Father’s way. Not if they had anything to say about it.
“If that is the case…we will make your life Hell.” The group silently stared at Penny, and she just stared back, daring them to make their move. Just when they took a step toward her, however, a flash of black rushed past Penny.
“Leave her alone.” That voice caused the Delightful Children to freeze instantly. A cold dread spread across their bodies when a new figure came into view.
It was Circe. Circe Sinclair. One of the few children who could get under Father’s skin like no other. Circe Sinclair, whom Father dearly wanted dead and departed, perhaps even more so than their wretched cousin.
Circe Sinclair, who had once been their only friend. Circe Sinclair, who somehow clawed her way into their hearts, one even more so than the rest. Circe Sinclair, who let them feel like normal children just for once.
Circe Sinclair, who was now no longer ten like them, but was now a teen.
She was uncharacteristically calm as she shielded Penny from their wrath. She was nothing like the easily angered wild child who had once bitten Alessandra to the point of needing stitches. She was so different, she was so mature. She’d grown up…
While they had to stay the same.
It's not fair. It's not fair. Why can’t we grow with her? Why can’t she at least stay the same, too? Why did she have to grow up and leave us behind?
Penny’s eyes widened as she looked up at Circe. She recognized her plenty since she was friends with Nigel and his other pals. She’d come around now and then to help Nigel do her hair or to help patch her up since she was training to be a doctor like her sister.
“Circe?”
“Stay behind me, Penny.” She firmly told her. Her bright blue eyes burned into their souls as she just watched them.
Unlike with Penny, the Delightful Children had no comebacks for her. No threats, no taunts. All they could do was stare back at her.
Their gazes swept over her to take in how much she had changed. She was taller, her muscles more defined from training. Her clothes were more toned down compared to the rainbow vomit wardrobe she always donned in her youth. She had on a jean jacket with little buttons strewn about, some of which she clearly made by herself. Her shirt was a mellow pink with strawberry patterns strewn about.
Her hair was the only thing that was somewhat the same. Her curls were still wild with her trademark cat ear buns topping her head. But that wasn't the only thing that looked familiar.
On her wrist was a light blue rainbow monkey friendship bracelet.
The same bracelet they had on their own wrists. Lenny, Bruce, and David had blue to match their suits while Constance and Alessandra had white to match their dresses.
Even after all these years, even after she outgrew them, she still kept it on. She…she still thought about them.
And that just made the pain in their chests all the worse.
“Circe Sinclair.” They managed to mumble out. Circe’s lips pulled together to form a thin line.
“Bruce. Constance. Allessandra. David. Len…Lenny.” Despite her attempts to stay strong, her voice broke when she uttered Lenny’s name. Likewise, Lenny could feel a lump in his throat.
“Stay out of our way, Circe. This doesn't concern you.”
Keep our voices steady. We don't care about her anymore. She's the enemy. We don't care anymore. She's not our friend, she's just another stupid teen.
But the bracelets they still wore despite Father’s disapproval said otherwise, no matter how much they repeated that mantra.
“She's Nigel’s new family. She is my concern.” Circe calmly, but sternly, told them.
The Delightful Children grit their teeth before taking a small step forward.
“Then we’ll make your life Hell too. We’ll make…we’ll make what we did as kids look like child’s play!”
That didn't seem to faze Circe like they were hoping it would. She just continued to stare them down with that stern look of hers.
Until a small smile formed on her lips, though there was little mirth to it.
“You guys were always bad liars.” They could feel their cheeks flushing pink as she called their bluff. Their hands balled into fists, Lenny’s and Constance’s feet beginning to stomp in frustration.
“Make no mistake, Circe Sinclair we, we will not go easy on you! We will destroy you and your precious KND companions once and for all!”
“We’d like to see you try!” Penny huffed at them, stomping her foot in turn.
The group growled softly at them before turning and stomping off. They couldn't do much with Circe there. They knew how strong she was, and she no doubt had gotten stronger in her teenage years. Especially after developing both her shadow control powers and werecat abilities.
It was the power difference that made them tuck tail. Not the pain in their chests over seeing their old friend. Not the jealousy that was rapidly flooding their systems at how unfair it was that she got to grow up while they remained stagnant.
And certainly not to hide Lenny as tears rolled down his cheeks. Certainly not to keep him from collapsing and sobbing his heart out upon seeing his first friend and first crush have to move on without him.
Circe watched them stomp off. She could feel her inner child wanting to reach out, wanting to scoop them into her arms and never let go.
But the teen had to refrain. She had Penny to think about right now.
Once they were out of sight, she turned toward Penny.
“Are you okay, Penny?”
Penny’s brow was furrowed as she watched them stalk off. When she heard Circe, she shifted her gaze to look up at her.
“I’m, I’m okay. They didn't do anything.”
Circe smiled softly at her and reached out to take her hand in hers.
“Oh, thank goodness. Let's get you home. I need to tell Nigel all about this.”
“O…okay.” Penny held her hand as they started the trek back home together.
The duo stayed silent as they walked. The backgrounds were a blur to them both, just a clash of houses and buildings with some trees sprinkled in between.
“...Circe?...Do they know you?” Penny finally broke the silence once that question was done properly stewing in her brain.
Circe’s grip on her hand tightened slightly at that.
“...Why?” She asked.
“Well, they…they just acted like they knew you. Did you…Did you know them?”
Circe was silent for a long moment. A shadow cast over her face, shrouding her features in darkness.
“...They were my friends.” She finally answered. A small, sad smile tugged at her lips. Her eyes frantically blinked, trying to wrest away the tears that were threatening to fall.
“...Once upon a time…one of them was even my prince charming.” Penny’s eyes widened at that.
“Those creeps?! Friends?! Prince charming?! How?! They’re, they’re awful kids! They just threatened you!”
Circe reached up to dab at her eyes.
“Oh, Penny…it's a long story. I…let's just leave it at that. For now, okay?” Penny opened her mouth to ask more, but then closed it. It was clear that whatever happened was very personal to her, to the point of bringing her to tears.
“O-Okay…”
They began to walk once more toward Nigel’s home.
“...Just remember one thing, Penny.” Circe piped up. She gave her hand a gentle squeeze while letting the tears finally fall.
“...They aren't awful kids…they’re hurt kids. Kids…who need to be saved like everyone else…”
