well, i’m grown up now ! i’ve made my own decisions in life, & it’s no longer up to you to decide what is right or wrong for me . i’ve made my bed, just as you have, & i’m more than happy to lay in it ! i have a loving husband, who’s gone to great lengths to ensure the safety & comforts of our people — INCLUDING becoming a vegetarian ! — & has even gifted me the grace of bearing a child . to be quite frank with you, he’s even laid down his own life to protect our people, as well as his own ! goodness, mother — we both spent 300 years stored within crystalline imprisonment JUST so we could be together in a time where such was acceptable !

i see the wonders of what a loving family could help a queen achieve, mother . i’m living the life i’ve always dreamed of : a devoted husband, a gorgeous daughter . . . & life now has meaning in mewni — we have equality & growth for our people, & their own development ! times are changing, mother, & while you may not be prepared to enjoy this new era, i’m afraid you’re just going to have to accept it .

as a mother, your daughter’s happiness means everything & more to you ; you want nothing else besides to see that beautiful smile when she knows how blessed she is to have you in her life .

now i’m not asking you to come to terms within a day, but at the very least, could you please acknowledge the fact that i’m happy ? ”

Tivia wasn’t in the habit of speaking with Solaria. Since she learned the truth of the conspiracy to replace Eclipsa and Meteora she actually had went out of the way to avoid the warrior queen’s ghost. Now that they were reborn she didn’t have that many excuses to continue doing so...
