Here's the info and specs;;;; The ZT 0300 folding knife was co-designed by KAI's Ken Onion and Strider. This Zero Tolerance is a rock solid folder that features SpeedSafe assisted opening for quick blade deployment using the ambidextrous thumb stud or flipper/guard. The recurved drop point blade is S30V stainless steel with a black stonewashed finish and plain cutting edge. The 3D machine textured handle is a titanium framelock design with a black G10 front scale over a steel liner. The back titanium frame lock is also black stonewashed. Adjusting the pivot while in the field is simplified by the addition of a 3/8" hex head shaft. The pocket clip is 4-way reversible for tip-up/down left or right hand carry options. The weekend officially starts, at least for my wife, on Mondays. This morning, she made me an excellent breakfast 🍳 and on her day off. Steak and Eggs Play to my specifications and best of all, the steak was in the shape of a heart. Can you believe this? Plus it came that way, she didn't cut it to be in that shape. Speaking of cutting, the knife you see is my fantastic Custom Invader, Prototype #1. from ADV Tactical and Andre D Villiers. He worked numerous man hours on the clip alone, because it was a special clip that I had asked for and designed along with him. Not to mention the excessive and extreme file work he did on the spine. Here are the specifications. To start with, it has some awesome steel that is simply amazing as far as I'm concerned, it's S35-VN. It's a combo satin blasted blade with, polished flats. Carbon Fiber inlay,, plus it has an extra, custom decorative, "filed" spine , and a beautiful Timascus Clip. Also the Color theme is Annodized purple and blue. With (heavy duty rollers) in the pivot screw area. Here's the awesome knife and he let me help him design the blade. We mashed two designs together out of former designs that he had already done. So it's basically a cross between one of his previous Tantos and one of his previous Wharncliffe's with my specifications thrown in. This was sort of a grail of mine and it took a while to get here, but I'm glad I waited because it was well worth it. At last check, all of Andre's customs like this, had a two-year waiting period according to what he recently told me. But remember guys, it is (( Definately )), worth the wait. This my Steven Tedford, Custom Fixed blade that I actually helped design with Steven Tedford of Tedford Knives, formally known as "Fireborn Swords", of Ontario Canada. It was designed over a period of about 8 weeks with he and I planning different blade styles. One thing Stephen does that other knife makers don't, is to work hand-in-hand and help out one on one, every step of the way, making you a large part of the knife making process and letting you help design your own knife, even though you aren't in person. It was my idea to come up with this particular blade style that I call a cross between a Nessmuk and a Ghurka Kukri. Steven said after he had made this knife, that he was confident in knowing it could be used for several different things and that it was actually a perfect Bush craft knife. He said it was designed to either chop down a tree sapling, skin a moose, or spread peanut butter. The knife was made in July of 2013, with ATS–34 steel, and has a hardness rating of 62 RC. For those of you that don't understand how that hardness test works, I'll try and explain it. The Rockwell hardness testing is done by a gauge that forces a diamond tipped probe, often called a cone, into whatever's being tested. The depth of penetration for a given amount of force, is measured and converted to a scale of relative hardness. The scale is called the Rockwell C. Scale. The hardness rating is usually abbreviated as RC. I definitely love this one. #knifeheaven #knifegasm #fixedbladeknives

Today is "Fixed blade Friday" and my knives of choice include my "Custom", Taylor made knives for my submissions. First this beautiful, Taylor-made knife, is made from a huge chunk of steel with a full grind, zero convex, as done by Knife maker, Chuck Richards. This was after heat treat, which I'm sure made it nearly impossible to do, however Chuck still did a fantastic job. Also it's made of 3V Steel, and is a total overall length of 9&1/2inches. A cutting edge length of 4"inches. Some of the thickest stock I have ever seen on any full tang, fixed blade knife. One word, Amazing. Next is the Frontier Knife, by Taylor made knives. The handle is made with local Whitetail antler and Osage Orange. The guard, pins and spacers are 304 Stainless steel. The antler is from a deer that Chris Taylor harvested with his bow. I spoke with Chris and he told me about how this knife brought back so many memories. He also said that it was forged and draw filed. I love the ergonomics because the way it fits in your hand is amazing. It feels like a glove and looks fantastic as well. I will honestly say that this custom fixed blade feels differently than any other knife I have ever held. Lastly, my Steven Tedford, Custom Fixed blade.
