🍶 a potion and a poison if u wouldn't mind?

Send 🍶 to see my muse as a potion. 

The potion is contained in a needlessly detailed bottle that very well could account for a large chunk of the price merchants are willing to sell for. Silver is embedded into the glass, thought to have changed colors when the contents become impure in some way. The liquid itself seems like mercury if it was dark green. Provides a short and sharp confidence boost if one is nervous about an upcoming public speech. Warning, quality of said speech may fall.

With the poison, you’d be using it to ruin someone’s reputation rather than kill or make them seriously ill. The container should be wrapped in something opaque, otherwise the poison is very noticeable. While the container is also made of pitch black glass, the poison is volatile and may strip the color just from its movement. The color is comically purple and should be dunked in something fizzy. Your victim will lose inhibitions, turn everything grandiose, generally cause a scene, and spit at everyone they have even the slightest animosity for. Good to use if you’re not the kind to yell “I Object!” at a wedding.

The Archmage had come to the flying fortress. The how’s and why’s were not terribly important so much as the fact that he was steamrolling his way to the throne room in a fashion that was more like a certain brunette paladin than his own overly-theatrical and mystical ways. He was being terribly messy, dispatching skeletons in the quickest and easiest ways possible as if he didn’t really have time to play adventurer. 

When finally he reaches the Throne room he seems pale and haggard. Indeed he only makes it a few feet in before dropping to his knees and resting on the floor, letting his staff clatter away to the ground nearby and raising his hands above his head in surrender. Upon closer inspection he seems extremely pale, maybe a touch more jaundiced than usual and he’s definitely sick. Looking up at the man who would be his demise he pauses, licks his chapped lips and addresses him softly. 

“Lord Sepulchure, truly I have not come to fight this day, but time was of the essence,” He pauses fighting with himself. He loses whatever internal battle he’s having. “Please, I beg a favor of you.”

Prior to starting his ventures, Rune had never heard of Sepulchure. And it seemed to be a crime to not know of the man, if Sir Vey and Maya were anything to go off of. Of course since traveling the Land of Dragons and efforts in finding the elemental orbs remedied that. Although, simply being known as the undead monstrosity that remained ahead on this hunt wasn’t enough for Rune.

Which led to this outing within the flying fortress. Finding it once made it easy to come get through it again. And skeletons and flying eyes while plentiful weren’t the most vigilant of watchmen. He evaded their sights but also didn’t know where to begin his search. If Sepulchure was who Rune believed he was, then he doubted he would make anything on himself easy to find.

Sticking to the shadows, he chose a random level and decided to peer into each of the areas he could and move up and down from there. Mostly there were necromancers engrossed in their studies; some skeletons chattering amongst themselves; and of course undead roving about. But as Rune searched, he noticed the avoidance of passages that led towards a certain level. One he had yet to check.

Rune ascended the passageway...and there was silence. As if this area was isolated from the bustle of the fortress. It was strange...as was the rest of the surroundings. The colors were more muted than before and even the imagery that made outsiders fear the dark diminished compared to before. The ranger heard a sound echo through the halls...was that...laughter...? It seemed too high, too pure to be the cackles of some student...

However getting any closer towards the sound, Rune knew that he wasn’t alone on this level. He cursed his luck as he hid before the presence entered the hallway.

The pair sheathed their respective blades as their opponent was defeated. To Tannim, he didn’t mind the test as he supposed it was only fair for the king to wonder. He wasn’t sure about this prophecy stuff since it was awfully vague and it’d mean that he and Rune were supposed to do something as large as save the world. It sounded like a lot to ask two new adventurers.

Which he guessed that was why the king insisted on training. However, Rune was having other thoughts. The rogue also held doubt about prophecy because it sounded ridiculous if anything. Interesting, he had to admit but entirely troublesome...and reporting to the king more often.

“Er, I’m not real familiar wit your knights,” Tannim admitted, “who do ya mean by your best?”

“Go ahead. Shoot me. Be a man.”

Gold eyes were on the man before him. A barrel trained onto the Doom Knight, although Tannim didn’t touch the trigger. He hoped that his aim would be off and he’d miss but with the distance closed between them, there was no way Tannim could miss. His luck must’ve run out or his partner’s misfortune cursed him.

G has helped me devise this. Made from a synthesis of all banes to the undead. It may be able to put down Sepulchure. Here, let me show how to work it.

Why would I need to know how to use it?

It is a precaution. While I prefer to be the one to shoot, I also acknowledge that lasting with that wight is difficult. Something tells me that broken bones is escaping by a hairsbreadth. So if i cannot, you need to know how use it.

Despite having the advantage and being goaded, Tannim hesitated. He started to withdraw the weapon.

“The matter will be taken care of shortly, my Lord. Now if you excuse me...”

In the same breath you acknowledge and forget that I am undead. What makes you think such a wound would be any more than an annoyance to me, Drakath?

“My Lord! N-n-n-no I would never thinksuch a treasonous thought! That kind of talking is mad! I was merely speakingto myself of…this necromancer calling himself the ‘Emperor of Rot’ down in thesouthern bit of Doomwood. Yes, that braggart is such a loudmouth I can hear his uh foppish tongue wagging on abouthow much better he is suited to command the undead armies. Did you know? Thatover the top lich pierces his teeth to stud them with gems. Ah, it would be soeasy to just make him stab himself but I suppose I should be going over thereto teach the overzealous oaf a lesson. In fact, I might just go take care of the matter this instant.”
