The thirty-ninth card of the Tarot is associated with the season of Summer. Water + air. This energy is youthful, poetic, idealistic and romantic. It’s a card of emotional giving, vulnerability, exploration and learning. Like all knights, it suggests travel, movement or change. It can tend toward sentimentality or moodiness. Primarily, it’s associated with compassion, creativity, and an artistic nature. There can be a strong love of music and film, food and cooking, nurturing people, and being of service. It’s an intuitive nature, maybe psychic without fully understanding the scope of what that means.  

The starfish is a symbol for inspiration, brilliance, vigilance and guidance. Morning glories are linked to Jupiter (warm + moist/liver, hips, thighs). They represent affection, immortal love and resurrection. They’re used as an adaptogen- to reduce the effects of stress on the body. They can be calming and tranquilizing, but should not be taken with certain prescription medications or herbs, like St. John’s Wart, having a similar purpose. It has also been used topically for spider bites, to help regulate blood sugar, and for body purification and cleansing.
