I love that Lucy and Maximus hugged when they reunited instead of kissing. It truly tells me the core of their relationship is their friendship. Watching them learn independence on their own paths and then reuniting to share the weight of their journeys was so touching. I find it so heartwarming that they both found a bit of peace in each other while roaming the wasteland.
