Behold the Hero of Sorrows, Knil.
*Cue epic but creepy music because it's Majora's Mask, come on, now*
Dutch indies knil soldier.
In Action: Johnson M1941 & Thompson M1928A1
This interesting photograph pictures Dutch colonial troops in Australia, in 1942 following the Japanese Invasion of the Dutch East Indies.
These Indonesian soldiers are part of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army or KNIL. They’re equipped with the classic Dutch M1934 helmet and some interesting weapons including Johnson rifles and Thompson M1928A1 submachine guns. With the outbreak of war The Netherlands Purchasing Commission ordered 10,200 Johnson rifles in August 1940, with an additional order for a further 20,000 placed later. These rifles were designated the Model of 1941 and were chambered in the US .30-06 round.
The Dutch also ordered 515 Johnson light machine guns but none of these are seen in the photograph. It is unclear when these rifles reached the KNIL, as some of those ordered were famously used by the two USMC parachute battalions.
These KNIL soldiers escaped the Dutch colony as it fell and mustered in Australia. After re-grouping some elements took part in the New Guinea and Borneo campaigns and after the war, in 1950, the KNIL was disbanded.

Koninklijk Nederlands Indisch leger (royal Dutch Indies (Indonesian)) army doing what looks like bayonet drills. Some time after 1876
I see that a lot of women in my place already got their Dutchman
So now where's my handsome, 6'0 or 5'11 or other upper, 20-25 years in age, blond neat haired, gelled or combed or oiled hair, loves everything about the Dutch East Indies, history enthusiast, glasses or not, Dutch soldier reenactor, item collector, kind, honest, sweet, sometimes too worrysome, the guy that loves at least one or two about Koninklijk Nederlands Indisch Leger or Royal Netherlands East Indies Army or and won't judge me for liking the same thing. likes call of duty black ops nz or any other ones, annoying (not a manchild), cocky or not, might be ambitious, charming, eats stupid things, doesn't play valorant or fortnite, plays hearts of iron dutchman
Or to dumb it down, just a Dutchman thats blond or brown haired, tall (I mean most of them are too tall anyways so it won't matter), likes history or art or literature or theatre or listening. I would really REALLY love it if I found him at the theatre, art museum or any museum that includes history, in the park, in a bookstore, places that promote anything old like, corners of malls (I mean like being lonely, not drug dealers or anything negative. AND those malls that are not crowded like that living world), probably at an old or quiet restaurant or cafe, or at a diner, gardens, well probably beaches (but not the crowded beaches). I DO NOT want to meet him in such places like bars, clubs, Atlas, Finns, like why does those indonesian women go to Bali to find a foreigner boyfriend in clubs and bars ONLY because they want to look cooler or look more high status. As someone that is like.. "cursed" to only feel attraction to Dutch men (this means I just like them out of sudden. I don't have any actual reasons and it gets very annoying for me so yeah it is also a burden for myself, like people usually have a reason like appearance, economy, personality. I just don't feel I have any of those reasons. But I still develop standards that I want in them) I wonder if their feelings with their foreigner boyfriend are actually real or just to show off, or to "perbaiki keturunan". Which is pretty disgusting, imagine your partner only dates or marries you only because you're a foreigner or to have a mixed heir or even just to show you off like a trophy and not because they actually have feelings for you. I would be mad if someone only dated me just because I'm Asian and only that.
"But you have high standards, that's not fair, you're probably ugly anyways" God forbid a girl wants a guy that has the same interests with her. I am honest, I would want an honest man too. If you don't meet my standards, then so be it. You don't have to hate on my appearance, just find another woman instead of hating on people that have standards that you can't/don't want to reach. Like seriously, some people just want to love someone they actually like and not force themselves to like people that they don't like..
"I'm like half of these but I'm not Dutch" That defeats the purpose of what I said. You can't be half of what I'm saying when like 80℅ is about being Dutch. So you're tall, blond/brown haired, kind, honest. Are you also Dutch, speaks Dutch, loves Dutch history, have a Dutch bloodline, a Dutch heritage, Dutchly handsome (those handsome faces, features of theirs)? I don't think so.
That's all ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)
