On the plus side, I finally, FINALLY figured out how to do chainmail without dying!

PS Yes, I know BotW/TotK Link is right-handed. Yes, I accidentally made him left-handed. And yes, I was too "lazy" to fix it.

Day 3: Zelda

I finally finished colouring the Witch Hat Atelier cover redraw!

(Threw in every single Procreate effect I knew and then ran …) I think this is the piece I will redraw once in a while with every new thing I’ve learned! Parts of this piece were traced from the original design by Kamome Shirahama, author and artist of the Witch Hat Ateiler series.

The iPad I used to draw this just turned 9 years old. The finished piece looks very different on my newer devices…

The colour scheme was inspired by the atmosphere of Lorule, which I had a good time writing about recently as I was finishing the Act 1 finale of Retired Assets!

The WHA redraw trend was such great fun! So many artists jumped in and made splendid, wonderful art for all our favourite blorbos. It was mind blowing to see the variety of styles being showcased, and the different takes on the same character!

Fun fact of the day: did you know Himewaka Akira, the artist duo behind the Legend of Zelda mangas, has actually drawn an anthro Wolf Link before and he is ridiculously adorable!

Fi being trans as a result of his learning who he really is apart from Hylia and his “purpose” that she had given him so long ago during his millennia inside of the blade, watching so many faces pass.
