We got cold weather yesterday for the sole purpose of letting me wear my newly finished alpaca sweater once before putting it away for the fall. It’s warm and soft and fits exactly how I planned and I love these little bats so much

Finished my Minaret top! A little shorter than I hoped it would be but still love it.
Some cat fur on the back because one of my cats decided to "help" with blocking lmao
I finished my first ever knit stuffed animal! I imagine there will be plenty more in my future because all three of my kids love it
I have had a block of some sort where I just couldn’t manage to finish anything for any of my babies. I started sweaters for each of them while pregnant and it just never happened. So I felt pretty determined to make this baby blanket for my youngest for either Christmas or her first birthday, depending on when I got done. Garter is so nice and squishy, and the chevrons and self striping yarn kept it easy but interesting as I battled my adhd to keep focused. I’m really proud I managed it.
Another FO. Last summer I went to a fiber festival with a friend and bought these 2 colours of hand dyed fingering yarn with a small project bag. I held on to them for a while waiting tonsee what I wanted to make with them. I tried my own patterns, which were nice but not what I wanted for this yarn. I found the Close To You pattern and decided to add colour. The yarn was a mini skein and a full size. I started with the mini and then started striping in the big one and when the mini was gone I stopped the stripes and continued with the main colour. I didn’t want just plain stripes (or a bunch of ends or yarn carried up the side) so I offset the stripes and switched colours at the pattern change. I really love the way it looks! The pattern is simple enough to show all the variance in colours but still interesting. It still needs ends woven, washing, and blocking but I’m happy with it!
The yarn is by Leo and Roxy Yarn Co
Close to You Shawl
It’s [mostly] finished!!! I need to weave the ends, wash and block, and sew on buttons but I finally finished a sweater for me!!! I’ve started at least 4, and made plans for several others over the years but this is the only one I’ve ever actually finished! I’m so stoked and I love the pattern. I did tweek it a but, I added an extra pattern repeat to the arms and added to the neckline.
My SO has a friend due the same day as us with a girl so he asked me to make something for her too. I made this cute little pink and blue dress. I found these super cute pink ladybug buttons for it too.
