I have had a block of some sort where I just couldn’t manage to finish anything for any of my babies. I started sweaters for each of them while pregnant and it just never happened. So I felt pretty determined to make this baby blanket for my youngest for either Christmas or her first birthday, depending on when I got done. Garter is so nice and squishy, and the chevrons and self striping yarn kept it easy but interesting as I battled my adhd to keep focused. I’m really proud I managed it.
