She is offering a free pattern to make a knitted ball, which you can send to her to include in a giant knit ball pit at Vogue Knitting Live NYC. She also accepts crochet balls. Every ball is asked to have eyes, and maybe some fun embellishments or embroidery. If you donate balls from outside the US, be sure to include your email address for a coupon code for her website. After the event, the balls will be donated to the American Foundation for Children with AIDS, as a reminder to those children that they are loved and valued.
