I believe it. I got food poisoning once, but still had to work. All day long I had people asking me “are you sure you’re not pregnant?” Even after it all passed and I was back to normal.
I complained of rib painonce, and someone made a comment about a kicking baby and then within 15 minutes word spread across the ops floor that I was pregnant. (And my boyfriend works on the same floor)
