I'm a crocheter. I've dabbled in knitting for awhile, and I was naturally holding the yarn continental style. I thought I hated knitting. My tension was ridiculously tight. It made my wrists hurt like hell. But then I tried knitting using the English style of holding yarn with my dominant hand. I've knitted 10 rows of 112 stitches in the past 2 days. So yeah, I don't suck at knitting, I just needed to use the right style for me.
I do find it funny how most crocheters who knit use continental style and my wrists decide they like variety and prefer English style. Colorwork should be a breeze for me since I can do Continental and English.
