🌴 A lovely moment of quiet and calm. 🌴 Justin and I recently got back from an unscheduled trip to New Port Richey Florida. J’s mom called us saying that his Grandma had a bad fall getting out of bed that resulted in a broken vertebrae and a swollen knee the size of a grapefruit. We immediately got our MN obligations covered and two days later were on a plane headed to FL. It was a super intense week and every emotion felt but I’m relieved to say that his Grandma is healing and doing much better. ❤️ It was stressful but we did get some good family time which was great. We ate dinner together every night and went swimming in the pool. We even snorkeled in the ocean and saw sting rays and giant crabs. 🌊 I hid a couple Knit Wits thus checking another state off the yarnbombing bucket list as well. ❤️ Life’s been bonkers but the yarnbomb adventures have continued! Another Knit Wit completed! You Instagram detectives might’ve noticed that I ever so subtly changed the release date from July 1st to July 4th in my previous post. I could make up a charming story about why I set the day back but to be completely honest, I got distracted with life stuff and completely forgot the date! Ever do that? Think it’s one month only to find out it’s the next? Disconcerting and mine boggling! 😱 However the KnitWits are coming along wonderfully and I am super excited to release them into the world July 4th. 🌎🧶❣️ The first batch of KnitWits will be placed around parade and firework hot spots in Minnesota.
