omg! I love your tags on the rory x jess text post, in my head that is definitely what happened!
Oh, thank you! It did, that’s how it happened and I won’t be convinced otherwise! (I just get really emotional over those two.)

top 5 most bizzare tv/movie/book crossovers that you think would work (if that makes sense)
oooh okay (sorry not all of these are bizarre) …
parks and rec/mcu: it’s been said before, i know it’s completely unoriginal, but Leslie Knope as the bureaucrat who has to clean up the mess left behind by various superheroes is the dream!
the worst witch/hp: just thought of this now… don’t ask me where it came from, my imagination is an incredibly confusing place. but can you imagine more than one magical school in the uk? multiple magical schools, some private some public, some coed some single sex, some specialist schools for kids who want a different style of education (art schools, schools where you only spend half the week in class and the other doing an apprenticeship, schools with language courses and exchange programs and sports scholarships). this would work with just about any story set in a school, but i need well rounded magical education systems please and thank you.
merlin/doctor who: this was my jam back in the merlin season one days. the doctor and companion (i always wanted it to be martha, but it could work with any of them) find themselves in camelot and meet merlin midway through saving arthur’s life. the doctor is locked in the dungeon because he has ‘magic’ and martha, merlin, morgana, and gwen (and i swear alliteration wasn’t the reason i wanted martha) rush around trying to save him. maybe they have to convince arthur to help. basically shenanigans ensue. i always imagined a christmas special like this…
grimm/brooklyn nine nine: because grimm is part police procedural still, a crossover with a cop show seems like a good idea. but not just any cop show. b99 the best thing to happen to tv comedy since parks and rec. there are so many reasons i now want this, but the main one is this image i now have of rosa and trubel kicking bad guy butt, passing a gun and machete between them as they go!
leverage/anything: so this may seem like a cop out but listen to this. imagine the show or movie you last watched, the book you last read… was there corruption in it? was there someone in need of a crew of thieves to right a wrong? yes? then imagine nate, sophie and the greatest trio to ever grace our screens swooping in with a brilliant plan to save the day. parker makes an unlikely friend, eliot teaches someone to kick butt (or maybe gets one upped by someone), hardison and literally anyone who can’t grift attempting it and nearly getting caught except sophie swoops in to get them out of the mess. leverage crossovers galore!
top 5 witches and top 5 au tropes
top 5 witches
morgan le fey or morgana pendragon or whatever name she happens to go by in whatever adaptation i’m watching/reading/listening to. she’s so gloriously amoral. i particularly enjoy adaptations that acknowledge links between morgan and the morrigan mythos
aunt jet and aunt frances (practical magic). i love love love this film and all the women and all their relationships and the inter generational magic, but i particularly adore these two! sister witches who take in their nieces and feed them chocolate cake for breakfast, and live in a rambling new england house, and embrace the town’s prejudice against them, and still help the women when they’re in need, and teach the girls magic, and promote midnight margaritas and dancing naked under the full moon (but only if you want to). can i say life goals any louder?
the three witches from macbeth. they gave us “double double toil and trouble fire burn and cauldron bubble”. if i can’t play lady macbeth i want to play the second witch.
bonnie bennett (tvd). she was treated so terribly by the narrative and by the characters, but she is so goddamn powerful and heroic and compassionate and i love her so much.
granny weatherwax (discworld). nobody writes witches like terry pratchett writes witches, and granny weatherwax is definitely one of my favourites
top 5 au tropes
magic au (i’m a sucker for a good modern fantasy, but really any magic au will do. this also includes hogwarts aus)
space (because why the hell not. and yes, stories already set in space transferred into other kinds of space stories please and thank you)
college au
superhero au
i also really really like domestic aus. just my favourite characters chilling in their own space, falling in love, making breakfast, dancing in the kitchen in their pjs. give me my kids happy and i’ll love you forever (then again, give me my kids in tragic fics and i’ll love you forever too)

yay! it's so good!!
yeah i'm really liking it!
POV
[this got long…]
Bellamy had hoped he would never have to spend another night sitting on these stupid plastic chairs. If he was honest he never believed it would happen, but hey, he’d hoped. Raven had been on his case about being more positive, and he’d let himself hope. But what use was hope when the best person he’d ever known – and it didn’t matter that the guy had pissed him off nearly every second they spent together, Wells really was the best of them – had died bloodily and needlessly in the arms of his best friend. Looking at her know you wouldn’t know Clarke had held him as he bled out. Except for the blood of course. Fuck. Everything had been going so well, and now he was about to be fucked over by the fucking princess. And I bet she’ll say she told me so as well. Bellamy had hoped and really, in Mt Weather, that was the most dangerous fucking fatal flaw of all.
knoperkins replied to your post “I’m on chapter 24 of A Vision of Fire and to tell you the truth I...”
That's great to hear, I really must start it since my copy arrived the other day!
You really should, I'm not joking, tbh I thought I would enjoy the book but I seriously didn't expect to love it so much and for it to be this good.
knoperkins replied to your post “.”
same! why do these things need to be so difficult!
ugh i don't know. i wish it was easier.
top 5 characters you would move to different shows
Bonnie Bennett
Elena Gilbert
Clara Oswald
Sansa Stark
Lydia Martin
I’d probably move them to a show like The Good Wife or Orphan Black where female characters are written with respect and considered to be actual people whose lives don’t revolve around the men in their lives.
